Little dip****. CAN WE WAIVE THIS GOT ALREADY
Despite playing his entire career for an organization that generally abhors any sort of media attention, Spurs guard Tony Parker has never exactly shied from it. While Tim Duncan is essentially a 7-foot Daniel Day-Lewis – carefully picking his spots – Parker has always been more Nic Cage, accepting whatever roles come his way and just embracing them.
Parker has released a French hip-hop album, opened a nightclub, launched a clothing line and co-directed an autobiographical do entary, among other things.
His next venture: becoming a featured figure in an ongoing web series produced by Sina Sports, China’s leading digital sports media platform.
Parker joins a cast that includes Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, former NBA All-Star and current Detroit Pistons assistant coach Tim Hardaway and Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey. They will each have their own web channel.
Parker will provide exclusive interviews and commentary to digital users on a weekly basis.
“Tony Parker is a perfect addition to our 'NBA Protalk' program” said Arthur Wei, Senior Vice President of Sina.com and General Manager of Sina Sports. “Chinese fans have gotten to know and respect him as NBA basketball has grown in popularity over the past few decades. We are looking forward to Parker’s commentary and interaction with our users, as he will add even more credibility and perspective to our popular program.”
Parker’s inclusion makes sense – he’s an icon in the international basketball community and is a spokesperson for Peak, a Chinese sportswear company that produces his “TP” line of shoes.

“I have been to China many times, and have certainly grown my interaction with fans tremendously since starting my work with Peak a few years ago,” Parker said. “It is great to now be officially partnering with China’s largest digital sports media platform in Sina Sports. I look forward to joining my fellow cast members and taking full advantage of this unique opportunity to build a direct connection with Chinese NBA fans.”

jealous much?
Pretty much![]()
I want to live in a world when I can come on SpurTalk and people aren't making thread after thread dissing TP.... The worst part is the threads are usually hot garbage, there's no real basketball discussion. Anyone who thinks Parker is the reason we lost is incredibly clueless
- Get over yourself, it's basketball.
Parker was the third best player on the team that series, tbh what are you on about?
Point the finger at Manu, Tim, Diaw, West, Ander , Mills, and Pop
OKC's MVP was Monty McCutchen tbh.
Porker ing pg screwing up
