Name a PG that can play defense in the NBA?
If Manu retires I think Lin is a great fit as a slasher for the 2nd unit...he could even start for us if TP continues to deteroriate and becomes a 6th man. Assuming we don't get any of the long shot targets (conley, Durant etc)...Rounding out a team with Lin, Plumlee, one of our euro stashes and a draft pick should give us some energy that we've been lacking..
Unless is the best PG in the NBA, one player is not gonna change the entire story.
Maybe the Spurs can add two cheaper players and get a better result.
Lin and Sullinger? Well...idk..but I think thats the right way to think about it.
He is a very good playmaker and sometimes can get hot from the 3. Can't play defense though.
He's a lot better than Parker is right now. And I've liked Lin for awhile.

CLT has no choice. He's UFA and they have a lot of FAs. They may be priced out.

The scary thing is that even if the Spurs got Durant, Gasol and Conley...they still would have a tough time beating GSW.
