I'm sure they'll do a good job replacing him, but he did a very good job of replacing Derk when Derk retired. Hope the new guy does just as good a job as Wicall.

willcall sucked Derk was the back in the day

Kawhi can do it, he has experience jumping and waving both hands to Parker for 24 seconds when he is wide open

Stan Kelly was by far their best PA announcer.
Yep. The Spurs games and experience hasn't been the same, either in person or on TV, since the end of the 2008 season.

Was extremely disappointed to hear another man voice the AT&T center in the first game of the season against the Suns in 2008-09. A blow to my heart tbh. The guy that called most of that season was lame and mundane.

However, I thought Kevin Brock did a pretty good job, I warmed up to him... he really tried to pull us over the hump in 2012, but that loss seemed to take a toll on him as well.

The guy in 2013 was just bland and useless. No enthusiasm, needed to be replaced.

The guy we've had ever since (2014- ?) is just bad, as someone already stated. That high pitched alien twerpy voice on the "threeeeeeee" is just annoying as . And he's not very enthusiastic compared to Kelly or Brock. We definitely need a replacement, ideally we bring back Duncan/Manu and Stan Kelly and win it all just one more time, the last game in blowout fashion, with the Spurs calling timeout and hearing Kelly yell "TIM DUNCAN! TIM DUNCAN! TIM DUNCAN!" one last time -- that would make my life.

Agreed he's ing garbage. So is the DJ
Agree on this one as well. Need to get back to the fundamentals of 2003-2006 or so. From the late part of the regular season 2006 thru the late part of the regular season 2012 they lowered many of our basic fundamental tracks by half a pitch and the sound wasn't as good, but then they all of a sudden decided to go back in time to 2003-05 early in the 2012 playoffs and that melted my heart. I really wish we had won it all in 2012, that was one of my favorite teams.

thats when you knew it a was a serious moment when stan kelly busted out the multiple use of the players name...he would get so hyped and say duncans name twice in the playoffs

Wish him well. He did a great job. If he wore to suffer a bad fall with Ank Spon, he may lose his life or ability to walk. Its a bad arthropathy.

From what I have heard, he actually may not have done the last couple of playoff games. I was not there so I cannot comment personally, but did anyone there notice a difference later in the playoffs?
