how Tim never beat his ass after pulling him in 6 i'll never know

mfer lost to avery johnson, scott brooks, lional hollins and rookie billy donovan as the higher seed with a painful amount of overcoaching yet sycophantic gots put him as all time great

give Larry Brown, Phil, or Carlisle equal talented roster and poop gets whipped every time
Playing McDyess, Blair, and Bonner over Splitter lmfao. Green got 7 minutes that whole Memphis series lmfao.

There is a reason why the majority of the players they draft are euro passive players who believe the coach is like a father figure or unathletic/undersized players. They have some kind of weakness that Pop can always downplay and it'll keep them from speaking up about his inability to coach or questioning his reasoning.. Pop is the kind of asshole who would play David West over D'Andre Jordan if Jordan missed an assignment or something stupid..

....and yet but for a few grossly improper calls against SA in Games 2 and 5 and it would've been your Spurs up 2-1 vs GSW.

The Thunder attack the rim and get free throws, they're also the best rebounding team in the league, Draymond's size is really getting exposed.

Spurs? They'll settle for mid range bricks, and the Turd Towers would allow Kerr to play the death lineup more. They also have Pop, who's not on Donovan's level.

Pop is done, the living proof is still having Bonner on the roster when he is only wasting space, old man is like a friend who never asks too much to his players.

I honestly thought he got over his coaching glitches in 2014. He pretty much coached a perfect run. Didn't screw around with Frankenstein lineups, didn't overplay bench scrubs, wasn't afraid to make major mid-game adjustments (sat Parker the 2nd half on game 6 against the Thunder), actively sought out Kawhi and told him to be more aggressive, and of course designed a pitch perfect gameplan to beat the swarming Miami defense.

Brilliant coach, but as I've said, he thinks his brilliance gives him license to go full mad scientist. His fascination with silly lineups and his obsession with "rest" will continue to cost the Spurs playoff wins.
