I like the idea of not recycling villains, I would be fine with Vulture. No more Green Goblins, or Doc Ocs unless it is apart of the sinister six.
Shocker, Hob Goblin or Hydo Man, Venom and Carnage would be interesting choices going forward.

was on the ps2, loosely followed the spiderman 2 plot (doc oc). was the best game as far as the traveling new york, swinging around freely, choosing when you wanted to start a mission. sorta like a poor mans GTA but with spidermanI've never played a Spidey game

the cool thing was that the city was an actual model of NYC (scaled 1/3 tho) so you could actually visit landmarks like empire state, twin towers site and their locations relative to the city were accurate. if you managed to find a helicopter you could attach web to it and it would pull you to liberty isle and you could climb the statue

I'm gonna see if there is a good mobile SPidey game even though I'm not a fan of mobile gaming
as far as other games, batman arkham asylumwas pretty top tier.
i also really enjoyed x-men legends rise of apocalypse (but thats a much older game during ps2 era). huge cast of playable characters, could also unlock ironman, deadpool, prof x, etc.
but i basically haven't touched a console for a while now, basically since 720 and ps4 came out. i didnt feel like spending money on a console when i was starting school, and its not worth to buy games on outdated consoles, so i dont game anymore
mobile gaming is awful. it was a cool fad with all the low-def games like angry birds and doodle jump and , but once they tried to make "quality games" it just went to , took up too much space on phones, etc.
and a lot of the games are just carbon copies of others... like i played around with Injustice, and then future games like marvel contest of champions or mortal kombat were just the same thing in a different s
100% agree; plus the controls are annoying; even when they are responsive they are weird
But I do like SNES-NES-Genesis emulators
