One recruit in particular has already sent a request to the NCAA to void his LOI and another current player is looking to transfer to UT or a few other schools.
Big 10 is the most logical, If Texas gives up LHN the BTN would more than make up for it.
Independent would be more logical than the overcrowded Big 10

Inside Texas saying LB Malik Jefferson will be working on the camp staff at The Opening in Oregon.
Lots of UT targets will be participating.
Inside Texas is hearing all of Baylor's 2016 signees will be released from their LOI.
The four Baylor prospects that the UT staff has their eyes on is WR Devin Duvernay, OL Patrick Hudson, DE Brandon Bowen and CB Parrish Cobb.
A UT source had this to say:
Hudson: They feel really good about Patrick. Thought they had him a week before NSD, and might still grab one of the nation's top OL. Percentages: 75%.
Bowen: They were first told Brandon might stick with Baylor. He also wants to run track and BU's T&F program is one of the best. But this morning, they were informed the Bowen's maybe more interested now. Percentages: 45%.
Cobb: Eric told me the best way to land Parrish is using the Cuffee angle, Jennings closeness, and his father's affection for Strong. Eric might get the hat trick. I'm told all three will be factors. Percentages: 65%.
Duvernay: Devin was adamant about playing college ball with his brother, Donovan. Texas wouldn't take both, so they ultimately chose Baylor. It seems the Duvernays still want to play together, and if UT barely has room for one, they definitely don't have room for two. There's still a chance, but my guess would be they land in Fort Worth with the Horny Frogs. Percentages: 25%.
Per Inside Texas, UT is starting to communicate with 2018 DT Bobby Brown of Arlington Lamar.
He may be camping in Austin this summer.

OrangeBloods says DT Marcel Southall signed an LOI with Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. this week just in case he doesn't get admitted to UT.
I Hudson coming to Texas is probable, but there is still a chance he stays there at Baylor.

I had to pass this on because it's just so weird.
On graduation day last week, Raulerson gets a message from Charlie Strong. Strong wants Jake to call him. Jake calls him. That big mortarboarding son of a gun soon heads over to Strong's office, practically in his cap and gown. Strong explains to Jake the past is the past and the coach who kept him from playing last year is gone. Strong wants Raulerson to stay. Jake is somewhat amenable to this idea -- he loves the school after all.
The next step of course is for Jake to talk to the "new guys" Sterlin Gilbert and Matt Mattox. They couldn't have seemed less interested. I won't go into details on that but WTF is going on in Moncrief?
It gets weirder. It turns out Joe Wickline put in a good word for Jake at a couple of schools. I'll never figure this one out.
So Baylor has already determined he was NOT one of the coaches who knew about are participated in the dismissal of complaints by female accusers...
I find it difficult to believe Briles was the only coach participating in passing over complaints.
Nonetheless huge if we can bag him.
Lots of people are questioning this move and for good reason as a lot more filthy stuff is probably going to be revealed.
No telling how they're going to fill out their coaching staff for the 2016 season if other guys are publicly implicated.
It sounds like Briles' son will be leaving soon and may have already resigned.
I don't know why he'd stay or why Baylor would let him stay.
