Like I said, whoever wins this series will be battle tested. Unlike the Cavs.

There hasn't been a Gm 7 in the WCF since the 2002 Lakers-Kings & the ROAD team won in 7 in OT. Considering the ThundeRefs factor, I wouldn't put anything past them even on the road.![]()
Was thinking more along the lines of Lakers-Suns 2006, but that'll do
Holy didn't know it had been that longand the Lakers were reffed to victory that time too!
A LOT of near misses for game 7s though, such as the Spurs-Mavs in 2003 when the Spurs put on that lucky 3 point barrage in the 4th coming back from 15+ down, 2006 the Mavs came back to win in Phoenix in Game 6, 2010 Artest's lucky putback, 2012 bad refs, 2014 Manu's shot.
Only pussies & assholes blame the officiating.
Though hyperbole that is funny
Lakers in 2002?
Yep. Important to remember though that in general home teams have won 88% (IIRC) of all Game 7s overall.
It was the WCSF due to re ed seeding rules. But yes, it was the de facto WCF (and really shouldve been the de facto Finals if it werent for D-Whiste)
I was going to say Dallas in 2006 but I forgot that was the semis. It might as well have been the WCF that year.
GSW went nuts from 3 tonight, and that was enough to win despite doing everything else very poorly. Demoralizing loss for the Thunder.
That was the last WCF that went to 7 games
yeah NBA ain't letting these s lose game 7
Eh, we will see what they are made of. I think Game 7 will be close. History seems to bare that out after demoralizing losses. Spurs-Mavs, Lakers-Kings, Spurs-Heat, Spurs-Pistons, etc. Generally the Game 7s are close. Except with Clippers last year lol sft
Nah, Golden State is the most efficient basketball team in the NBA and J.R. Smith and efficiency don't go together. Also other than Curry and Thompson the Warriors are not a high volume 3 point shooting team.
To be honest... I don't know how OKC can recover from that choke job. They had Golden State by their necks and they still managed to lose this game
Kerr is using Thompson so much better this year, getting him off screens instead of getting him to create his own shot.
Bye, Choklahoma...
Klay, you da real MVP...
wouldve won today had they suspended horse mouth...
Script is written, so script must be followed. Way too much $$$ involved to do otherwise.
& Westbrook sitting on that dais the other night and laughing at Curry and his defensive prowess. Could not stop himself. He knew just as sure as the turnin' of the earth that it was wrong to open his mouth there, but, could not stop himself from tin' where he ate.
