Again, though, I ask if theres ever been a worse foul in NBA history.
If there has, I don't remember it. Still, it wasn't the only reason they lost. That series shouldn't have even gone 7 games, but Porker's chucking, Manu and Horry screwing up a simple handoff at the end of Game 3, and the refs (Duncan fouling out in Game 3 for breathing in the vicinity of Dirk, Finley getting T'd up for no reason in Game 4, the Mavs being gifted 125 free throws in Games 3, 4 and 5 alone) all deserve mention as well. It's ironic that Mav fans still cry so hard about the Finals that year, because that series against the Spurs was full of bull calls that all went the Mavs' way.

Porker spending that entire series chucking almost as many shots as prime Duncan and bricking most of them was what really killed the Spurs. Manu's foul was just the final nail in the coffin.
Why would a self-proclaimed "Clipper" Fan be so pro-Spurs? I see you upstairs quite a bit too. I'm onto your act son.

I've explained it a million times, Juancho. I'm a huge Duncan fan so I've watched him - and by extension, the Spurs - play a lot.

I know you're giddy that "your" Warriors won tonight, but please try to contain yourself.

    Cant say I agree.

    1) Not a game 7

    2) Not an overtime choke

    3) No stupid ing foul

If Klay Thompson is going hit 27 foot three pointers to beat you, what are you going to do? But the only reason the Spurs didnt win and get that elusive repeat in 06 is because Ginobili's stupid foul.

In the HISTORY of the NBA, has their ever been a worse foul?
You know whats funny is, had we won that series and the ring in 06. I guarantee yall would have rang in 07. I dont even see 06 as a lost ring because in 07 we were the third best team in the West and benefitted from the chips falling our way and being hungry to avenge the 06 defeat. Oh well, Phoenix continues to be irrelevant.

Yeah with Barkley they did, their sorry ass franchise has not been back since though so the fan talking all night long about the Spurs is pretty much funny to me. The Spurs still on his mind from the 00's man, the hate runs deep.
I would hate us too. We have completely sodomized that franchise. Its so bad that when they finally did beat us back in 2010, Nash went into the locker room and cried, cried because he finally slayed the dragon that was living rent free in his head his whole ing career. Suns fans have had everything they have ever dreamed of taken by us and the Mavs. And 07 was the cherry on top of the sundae for them because those suspensions left them with the worst kind of hurt, the hurt of what could have been, they never had a better chance than that year to ring. We completely ing own that franchise's souls, I love it.

Suns did finally beat the older Spurs and got past their demon, a small reward for all those years of ass kicking and heart breaks. They then proceed to go lose in the Conference finals because no team who beats SA wins it all since 2004, it's a curse and a F U by the bball Gods for beating the great Spurs. The curse is real, Thunder about to receive it this year as well .

I can see why he is mad though, they thought they had us in 07 until the suspensions and then they add Shaq to the line up and they proceed to get their ass kicked 4-1 in the 2008 series to shut their fans and teams mouths up about 07. They never had a shot man

That 06 series was one of the worst reffed series I have ever seen as a fan and I swear after one of the games Charles on TNT yelled NBA Refs suck man, that was the game Tim fouled out with Dirk stepping on his damn foot. Do not forget the Finley tech as well later getting taken away and they lost in OT, Pop then says that means we win by a point now right? Mavs fans had some nerve whining about the refs after that series, like they forget and were robbed but in reality never should have been there in the first place if that series in the 2nd round was not called so bad. Glad someone remembers that now, it seems to be forgotten and all I hear is they were robbed in the 2006 finals with calls, Karma...........

I had a friend that was a Phoenix fan and the breaking point for him was when Duncan hit that 3 pointer in OT and we took game 1 of that series in 08. He never wore his Phoenix jersey again and he stopped watching the NBA for a year after that series. He came to me the next day and just said "We cant beat yall, even Tim hits 3 pointers against us, it cant be done." And he never even talked trash to me after they won in 2010.

I had a friend at work who was a Suns fan too man, it was hard to even face him after those series and not say a word and just be in silent agreement that it happened again. It was as if he just accepted it and we didn't have to discuss the series when it was over. I think he hated the Spurs so bad deep down inside but he gave the Spurs props after the 05 le and said you must have had fun on your B day man at the beach and the Spurs winning the le, dude was actually cool. I bet after 07 he got sick of it though tbh. BTW LOL at the Duncan three, that was just more fuel to the fire man, it was like they were cursed against the Spurs and they knew it. That measly win in 2010 was little consolation to be honest, their prime years were done already and wasted and the Spurs ruined their shot at a le a few times. In 07 they win it easily, that one for sure was a definite le. I think in 2005 Detroit might edge them though but we never know because they got beat 4-1 by the Spurs.

Ginobili made the 3 to put them up 3 in the 2 for 1 the possession before.

2005 Detroit wouldve beaten them in 5 tbh, they wouldve suffocated them on defense. Defending champs werent going down to anyone but the Spurs that year.

one can only imagine how much damage dem Spurs have done to Sunsfan over the years that they have the audacity to still try to talk ...

It's kinda like the Culby rodeo, funny but at the same time, pretty sad, tbh... sure as glad I'm not walking on those shoes...

Agreed, they would have whipped those no D Suns. They would have put Prince on Nash and it's a wrap.

They almost got us man, if not for Horry's heroics or a game 7 rally by the Spurs they had us........ That was too close for comfort, that team would not go away and never got rattled. That series was intense.

Sun fan knows he can't win here, he has no win in this argument and his jokes are like throwing shots at a throne tbh. He has no win and his jokes are funny I admit but hold no weight being that team he roots for is forever owned by the Spurs from the 00's. It's like you can talk but it holds no weight at all. I don't hear you unless you ring type of deal I will give him from now on. This is too fun though, too easy.

Yeah it sucks being a fan of a team that has been great and in the le hunt for 15+ years. I'm over it. It sucks but the Thunder always gave us trouble and they're always hard to play at home.

We lost, OKC was hungrier in that series and had a lot more to prove. And really honestly, they had a chance to be the best team to close out with a le this season— they folded more than we ever did in their own game 6, and that includes the infamous 6.

We traded wins all the way to a Game 7 at Miami. OKC had the champs 3-1 and a Game 6 lead until the final minutes.

Your old dad told ya's they ed up when they didn't end it at Game 2. That was their moment. Their moment. Push all your chips into the middle of the table and go. But, they were sated and came out y and distracted, repudiating Media, showing them that they could do it.

HCA killed them by not taking that 2nd game. It ed up the count. That Game 7 in Northern California looming like a beacon.

lol Boris Diaw and Barbosa had to find other teams to ring. Channing Frye has gone further in the playoffs than Steve Nash ever did.
