I'm only okay with it because the Spurs are still good. If the Spurs weren't good, I'd hate the NBA right now.
Makes you wonder what tomorrow's NBA will look like...![]()
2 point guards, and 3 shooting guards all chucking 3/4 court shots. Anything past half court counts as a 4pt shot. If you hit from the other teams free throwline, that counts as 5pts.![]()
Five small, frail guards camped out around the three point line, ready to chuck.![]()
Does anyone remember a thread last year saying the spurs should build around a team of 6'6'' players calling it the all length team? Genius prediction.
yea the NBA's pretty much garbage tbh
Sports in general have been evolved (or devolved) in certain ways. No need to watch if it affects you to the point that you long for a different era. That's the simple solution to it. I enjoy watching the 3 ball. It's just part of the ever-changing landscape. Even with my team being a complete cluster .
Some accountant ran the numbers.
I agree styles of play always change every era. Right now 3 point shooting is the big thing because the Warriors are champs and it's a copy cat league. In a few years it could be something else depending on who the top team is at that time.
Golden State Warriors All Curry Finals MVP 2022
^^ with Greg Popovich and Matt Bonner being wedded to thunderous applause at a blissful halftime ceremony.

If one subscribes to the cyclical theory of history, it would possibly revert back to an older state eventually.
Ewing? Why didn't you highlight Barkley or Robinson, especially Robinson? Ewing's career wasn't nearly as good as it could have been thanks to his knees, he was an absolute monster at Georgetown.
This has to be one of the most boring seasons I can recall. Spurs almost made it interesting until Pop had a few glasses of wine and went into Cuckovich mode.
Probably an army of twinks shooting 3-pointers.
We won't be a laughing matter for long when we pull in Durant.
