We're not talking about both. Just one or the other. I think Parker makes more sense for the Spurs to trade as he's slowed down quite a bit and his contract makes it difficult to do other things. But if it came down to it, I'd be OK with Green going for the 3rd pick also.
Sure, but why trade one of them for the 3rd pick? Why not take the 1st for Parker and the 2nd for Green so we can get Simmons and Ingram?

There's no way Philly or Lakers give up their picks.

Boston has a much more developed team than LA or Philly. They could use an experienced player and afford to trade a draft pick. Lakers and Philly should clearly be building for the future and need a long term player. But even if Parker would be beneficial to either of them, they're too dumb to make that move anyway.

You couldn't get the third pick for Parker and Green. If we want to live in Fantasy Land, why not trade for 1996 Michael Jordan?
How many HEB gift cards will the Spurs trade for '96 Jordan???????

I prefer my 1996 Jordan trade personally. Maybe we don't need to lose Parker or Green, we could just offer up Diaw. He can play all 5 positions. I think he could fit well with Pippen and Rodman and help them 3 peat.

Don't want Plumlee, he was the worst player on the Portland roster in this (last) year's playoffs. Rather have Alex Len so Boban doesn't have to curl up into the fetal position against him 4 times a year.
You do know there is more than one Plumlee in the league. You're thinking of the wrong one

The developped part of Boston's roster is the backcourt, they have 5 PGs/SGs contracted for next season already. They need bigs. They're not trading the 3rd pick for Parker or Green.

If they have Parker, then they can trade one of their PG/SG for a pretty good big. For Boston, the move doesn't end with just acquiring Parker.

The Plumlee's and the Zeller's. There are like 6 of them combined in the league, they're all soft, tall, stiff, white, and limited. Do not want

If RC isn't willing to make the calls then he needs to go, these are all doable I can't even conceive why we haven't tried this before.

You must be a player fan trying to protect Parker and Green and Anderson.. They can easily net a 3rd probably an 11th and a 18th pick.. Which we could parlay half that into real superstars or solid draft picks.. I mean its a no brainer.. RC has been holding the Spurs back because Pop wants to win with scrubs.

IMO, Anderson doesn't have much trade value. Further, I still think he could develop into a more important role on the Spurs. Of the three you mentioned, he has the most untapped potential. Unless Green magically finds consistency. But Green still can't get to the basket. Parker is the most realistic to trade for the 3. If Green had a great season, he'd obviously be up there. But of course if he had that great season, Spurs would want to keep him considering his D.

Parker + Mills + Diaw for Curry + Iggy... maybe warriors should throw the 1st pick to complete the deal

With what? Anderson? He's not my favorite player by a long shot. But from time to time, he does some good things. He's obviously a good passer. And he seems to be confident and able to hit the mid-range jumper. Doesn't get flustered. SLOOOOOWWW as but amazingly can get his shot off and get into the paint at times. Is he a star? No. Is he a potential starter? Maybe...probably not. But if he gets some more experience and playing time, I can see him improving what he already does. And also possibly becoming more efficient from 3 point rage. None of that is a stretch. I don't expect him to start dunking over s in the paint. In short, I think he can contribute.

Green seems to be what he's shown. A good defender that sometimes gets into grooves where he can nail 3s. But when he's off, he's way off. I would think as a fairly athletic guard, at some point in his life, he would have learned to dribble, drive, and finish. But he's terrible. If he was going to get better at these things, I would have expected it by now.

Don't think the kings are giving him up honestly. They played him a heck of a lot towards the end of their season and he did pretty good, they seem him as part of the future. Plus he's a short drive away from his big bro so there's that

We're not never or ever trading Tony Parker. That's just wishful thinking.

Agree. The Spurs won't trade Parker, it will never happen. But we have 10 threads about it every offseason...it's some Spurstalk tradition.
