I hate you so much. i didn't read the spoiler part either.
I'm sure it'll come back in at some point, but time is limited if the 7th and 8th seasons really are shorter. D&D seem to be picking and choosing which secondary storylines they focus on each season. The problem is, now the Greyjoy stuff is happening so late. How in the are they supposed to create a fleet that large in such a short amount of time? I'm sure it was necessary for budget reasons though. It can't be easy with all the different filming locations, cast, crew, etc.
Oh, and hold the door.![]()

pretty average episode but they all can't be homeruns and triples. I mean the dinner table was probably the most suspensful lol
Tommen is a passive weak king
i bet the trial by combat will be between The Mountain and Tommen.
Don't think u can force someone to be ur Champion in a TBC. One must either volunteer or accept an offer to become one.
Seeing flashes of the Mad King "burn them all" was cool. I want to slow down that part and see everything. There was a whole lot of images flashing around.
I have to wonder though, what was the point of Arya messing around with the faceless men for one and a half seasons if she just up and leaves? So she can be a trained fighter/assassin?
And Tommen is a jackass. Now the church has the crown in their back pocket.
I think it's obvious who the other champion will be.
Who? Jamie?
Dorne's history suggests that they are not likely to side with her. Maybe the iron islands but only if she would agree to marry Euron, which again is unlikely. She is more likely to concur Westoros with the armies she currently holds. Who in Westeros is likely to fight against her outside the Lannisters and Tyrells? THe Vale has yet to get in volved, the North and the riverlands appear to be nuetral at best.
SPOILER
The Hound most likely.
I'd imagine she kills the other chick and they take her face instead
Technically, since Tommen gave into the Faith, the Kingsguard is a part of the Faith. Which means, Cersci can't choose the Mountain/Robert Strong as her champion. So the Tommen move complicates a lot.
Good episode tbh..
Next few episodes should have some battles
Ep was good but it had potential to be much better.
Best:
Olenna x Cersei back and forth was incredible.
Margaery scenes were wild. The dialogue with her and the Sparrow was fire.
Although we didn't get the broken man speech, Mcshane smashed his scenes with Sandor. Was very different to what we usually expect from the show.
Jaimesiege of Riverrun was dope. Having Bronn with Jaime is a great change.
Lyanna Mormont was great
Ehh:
I'm honestly not really connecting with Jon and Sansa campaigning in the North. I don't know, it just feels kinda
Jon and Sansa really seem like they have no wits when they were bargaining with the Glovers and Mormonts.
We know Arya isn't going to be dying in Braavos, so idk why they would make her take 3 stab wounds that would kill 99% of the population. Rubs the Faceless men the wrong way too imo
I'm not the biggest fan of the Yara and Theon plot. I really wished that it was Euron sailing to Meereen, which would've made him seem like a genuine threat. Euron is literally the devil in the books with powers to control dragons and raise krakens.
The next villain evolution from Joffrey to Ramsay to Euron.
He's on Charizard status.
They've also screwed up the Arya's character. IIRC, her kills in the book were surgical, but in the show they've been just been sloppy. I'm talking about that brothel kill, not only was she seen by a lot of ppl but the kill it self was terrible. She's suppose to be Jason Bourne/Nikita in training. Showrunners need to get their together.
Is it just me or have the last few episodes been boring?I feel an ending like The Sopranos coming. FML
Meh
Average overrated show
Still better than Arrow and Flash...
Don't know if I'd call them boring, but I definitely want to see things get moving. Especially if the next two seasons are shorter, I don't want the ending rushed.
LOL Agents of Shield
I am not getting how next week's episode is supposed to be some huge battle. Where are John Snow and Sansa getting an army? They have maybe 4,000 soliders, most of whom are untrained wildlings. They will need the Vale and hopefully an Umber turncloak to win the battle. Perhaps they will be more successful with the Mandaley fmily like the book, but the show did a lousy job setting that up if this is the case.
The show has been pretty lousy of late.
So the payoff for almost two whole seasons in Bravos is Arya killing The Waif off camera, then walking out on Jaqen? Well, I guess the payoff was her impressive ability to cope with a belly full of stab wounds delivered by a master assassin, and her Wolverine-like ability to just shake them off and run a medieval obstacle course.
And RiverRun? What the was that? No fight? No help for asana/Jon?
And Mereen continues to be the location of wasted characters.
You bring back Benjin to save the all important Bran, then nothing.
Even the Mountain scene was ty.
Total letdowns.
the axe part was good, but yeah i dunno wtf was going on with riverrun
The Hound was great. Even the comedy of the hanging.
But everything else, even if the buildup has been great, it has fallen flat.
