The Warriors pre-Curry injury were the greatest team of all-time, tbh..
When your best player is playing on one leg, obviously there will be slippage..
This is not the best team of all-time, regeardless of what happens from here on out. They'll have the single season record but they're more like the Celtics in '08 than the '96 Bulls. Not bad company either way, as they both rang. Let's see if they hold on.

remember 2014? spurs dropped a game before 3 more beat downs. You don't make these kind of threads after just one game. Cavs haven't shown anything today that makes me say, oh yeah they are better.
Excuses. ...
^this
Dubs just droppin' this game so they can hoist thein front of their home crowd.
no homer, but Spurs played far superior playoff ball in 2014, IMO..
Both losses the 96 Bulls had in those finals were by double digits, including a 20 point loss.
Oh, no argument there. The Spurs in Games 3, 4, and 5 of the 2014 Finals entertained us with some of the greatest basketball ever played. What a beatdown!![]()
Just like how it was a short series for the San Jose Sharks!
They were also blown out in games 3/4 to OKC, and needed OKC to play conservative ball in order to win game 6 and the series. The GOAT type of team doesn't get punked around like that and go down 3-1 and need that kind of luck in an elimination game OR EVEN BE IN AN ELIMINATION GAME AT ALL! The Warriors should have gone 16-1/16-0 and dominate the entire postseason. The GOAT team doesn't fail to win a game 3 in every series of the playoffs that year either.
That is true but the Bulls only had 3 losses during the '96 playoffs while the Warriors have 6 losses.
p-p-p-please notice my Spurs guise! Please!
The Warriors have also been blown out 3 times with Curry in the lineup these past 2 rounds. The Bulls were only blown out 1 time during their 96 run.
Yeah, I was totally wrong about the Sharks. They were the hot team, but their balls shrank in the SCF. I hate the Pens, but they are the better team in this series.
As an aside, this will be the first time they close it out at home in 4 tries. Bizarro.
they are not the best team of all time considering the fact they finish the rs only a few g ames ahead of the spurs
hence td took 2-3 weeks off and never recovered the first half of season form to close out the 2nd half and it went downhill for him in the playoffs
the gap couldve been closer if pop didnt play around with his roster
this season is like the season 12/13 when heat put on a 25 winning streak in the 2nd half of the season while the spurs also had a 19 game winning streak, all talk was on the heat, but the spurs handled their out west like a boss untill some pos decided other things in the finals
they have now twice as many playoff losses as the 1996 Bulls while getting destroyed in 3 of them by +22...
Rckette Fans
Curry needs to give back those MVPs he stole from LeBron, tbh.
Warriors

"Lightyears ahead of the rest of the league"

Both teams are clown-ball e. Take away the 3 and ya got nothing...NOTHING.
The Warriors have been weakened by the OKC series, I think that series brought their confidence down a lot. Curry averaging 16 ppg in the Finals, Thompson averaging 12 ppg in the Finals. Pretty weak.
I already called nobody is beating the cavs before the season.
No surprises here tbh. I already knew this scenario a year ago...
Cavs have no chance to win this series...NONE.
You just ed the Cavs.
Very safe to say.
2014 Spurs, many other teams rip them a new one.
Farking 47 basketball I.Q. Westbrook and Durant were a hair away and only by beating themselves are we having to watch Golden s.
