On the surface the sentiment is not wrong. But illegal immigration is wrong.
In a white-nationalist, Repug politician's mouth, it's 4-letter word, a slander.
On the surface the sentiment is not wrong. But illegal immigration is wrong.
Depends on the context. Saying someone can't do their job because of their heritage, is insulting. Factually calling an American a Mexican, is not insulting in and of itself. I would say making that kind of mistake through indicates someone who relies too much on the intellectual crutch of bigotry to make their world simple enough for them to understand it.
I noticed you failed, yet again, to provide an example of what you would find racist.
Why is that?
Talk is cheap.
What's your solution for the Ms of illegals in the USA?
Speeding is wrong.
Illegal immigration though, unlike speeding, is an overall benefit to the economy.
Why should I worry more about illegal immigration than speeding?
Speeding causes more deaths than illegal immigrants and terrorists combined.

If the border was actually controlled, wouldn't LEGAL immigration with work permits be MORE beneficial since they wouldn't be working in the underground economy?
If legal immigration were made easier, then controlling the border would be easier.
I agree about bringing people out of the underground economy.
Try getting reform that makes legal immigration easy past a major political party devoted to populist racism, though... that is the challenge.
All you have to do is start talking about that, and you get hysteronics over
"amnesty"![]()
I haven't failed at anything. I find no compelling reason to give an example.
FAIRUS is a xenophobic hate group
Other than intellectual honesty?
I have never found conservatives very compelled to be intellectually honest, so that doesn't surprise me. It makes me a bid saddened to see no small part of the electorate so intellectually stunted, since it makes it hard to run the country.
You go with your bad self, but don't ever pretend to me or anyone else that your viewpoints are based on anything other than what feels good over facts and reality.

That sort of takes the cake though doesn't it.
Trump: (racist comment)
Trump critic: (that was racist)
Trump supporter: (no it wasn't racist)
Trump critic: (if that wan't racist, what is?)
Trump supporter: (um, well, gee, I can't think of anything)
Everybody with any goddamn common sense: (rolls eyes)
Trump is a racist bigot.
QED.
You keep telling yourself that Mr. Intellectually Honest Guy.
10 signs of intellectual honesty4. Avoiding/Ignoring the question or “ . . . and let’s not forget about . . .” Anybody who refuses to admit that their argument is weak in an area and, worse still, avoids answering difficult questions in that area is being intellectually dishonest. If they don’t ignore the question, these people are easily recognised from their efforts to change the subject.
Given:
An individual is intellectually dishonest, if they refuse to answer a fair, relevant question.
Given:
tlongII refuses to answer a fair, relevant question.
Therefore:
tlongII is intellectually dishonest.
QED
The asshats claiming faked moon landings can't answer fair, relevant questions either.
The fancy word for this is sophistry.

Except it wasn't a relevant question. You asked me to cite any statement that I considered racist. How is that relevant to whether I consider Trump a racist or not? If I said calling someone a n!gger is racist what would that have to do with this discussion? I don't care what you call me though. It doesn't bother me. Really.
Getting closer to reality
Mr. Trump doesn't have a racist bone in his body. You may disagree with his politics but let's keep this discussion civil, gentlemen.
Yes if he was racist it would have came out before he announced he was running

That's why bigots, racists, white nationalists, jingoists, KKK, David Duke, flaccid old white men all love and support Donny Trash.

Hillary Clinton has a narrow lead of just 4 points over Donald Trump in a new national poll released Sunday.
Clinton is backed by 47 percent of voters nationally in an ABC News/Washington Post poll. Trump is at 43 percent.
But that's a steep drop from a late June version of the same poll. Back then, Clinton held a 12-point lead, 51 to 39 percent.
And while Clinton in June held a 22-percent lead among college-educated white women, pollsters found that demographic is evenly split between the two candidates.
Clinton had a double-digit lead over Trump on handling race relations, an international crisis, immigration and helping the middle class.
Trump has a 15-point edge over Clinton among white voters, while 89 percent of blacks and 74 percent of Hispanics support Clinton.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll, conducted July 11-14, has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
Just maybe they think Clinton is a liar and does not care about obeying it
DGAF.
Just one poll among many. She's up in every other polls released today.

Her margin isn't that high. Around 5% which isn't much. He should get a bump after the convention, but I think she gets a bigger bump. Still not enough to give her an insurmountable lead.
Romney got a bumb of 5 percent after convention
