That's like Owens last year.
Blindsided by that one.
Well, that one kind of sucks. I liked Shavers. However, I think Horns are sitting pretty good at WR (especially if they're able to grab Devin D this summer).

So is Marvin on D. The guy tried very little fancy stuff, he just bullied people. He penetrated on everyone.
I like Little the best out of those two. The white LSU commit on OL is a beast. The Filiaga guy looks like he could get a lot better. Little looks like he still has room for muscle bulk. Those vids are cool for a short look. Now being able to keep the level high is a whole different story for all. I wonder if they do some drills to tire them before engaging in 1 v. 1
LB Josh Clarke of New Orleans, LA to Ole Miss.

Alabama has offered CB Kary Vincent of Port Arthur Memorial.
With WR Tyrell Shavers committing to Alabama, 24/7 believes the next two WRs who could receive offers are Charleston Rambo and RJ Sneed.
If this is the guy doing coke at his prom (I think a poster said this)...
Go on and git.
Be a dog please.
He was. My daughter told me yesterday that it's having a bit of a renaissance at Bullard. He and a bunch of his buddies are doing blow pretty regularly.
SIAP- Charlie Strong says he’s confident Erick Fowler will make the grades (Hookem.com)
HOUSTON — Texas coach Charlie Strong said he’s confident freshman linebacker Erick Fowler will make the academic scores he needs and will soon be cleared to join the team.
Fowler, a four-star prospect from Manor, did not move onto campus last week with other incoming recruits and is said to be waiting on a standardized test score.
Marcel Southall, a defensive tackle from Duncanville, also has some work to do academically.
“They’re still getting their work in and at some point they’ll make it to campus,” Strong said.
If available, Fowler would give Texas a skilled pass-rusher who is considered to be among the top youth players to ever come out of Austin.
This comes one year after Texas had to cut ties with three signees who couldn’t make the grades: Floridians Devonaire Clarington (tight end) and Gilbert Johnson (receiver) and Houston’s Du’Vonta Lampkin (defensive tackle).

Good riddance.
If it's that public it has to get back to Strong I would hope.
This is my one strike rule. We offer and this is what you are...
We can't take on rehab patients, our program is way too shaky to deal with this crap and trying to play FB.
Time for his parents to step in.
A few quotes from Nations #1 prospect DT Marvin Wilson (Orangebloods):
"Texas is just Texas, that’s the thing. Coming from the home state, I always loved Texas, grew up watching Colt McCoy and Vince Young, especially with Vince being another guy from Houston," Wilson said. "He was the number one player in his class, I’m the number one player in my class and I might go to Texas, so you never know."
"The fact that at Texas you can come play for your home state team and blow it up," Wilson said of UT's recruiting pitch. "It’s the same thing like Malik (Jefferson) did, staying in state, now I can come up there and do the same thing he did."
"That resonates with me. I talk to Malik when I go up there to visit. Me and him playing together, me handling it up front and him cleaning up my mess, that’s a great thing to chill out to him."
"I just want to see them win a decent amount of games. That’s all I want to see," Wilson said. "If they’re successful, I just want them to do well. I just want to see progress."
Upcoming visits: Wilson plans to visit Ohio State this week, Florida State the following week and Southern Cal after that. He recently visited Alabama, which made a strong impression.
Return trip to Austin in the works?: Wilson said he'll probably take a summer visit to Texas, possibly for the Longhorns Under the Lights camp in July.
Jason Higdon of HornsDigest says that 5-star DE Robert Beal Jr. of IMG Academy (FL.) will visit Texas within a week.
if Baylor brings back Briles, then I'm hoping the rest of the Big 12 will vote to kick them out. I don't know if it is even possible, but this is unacceptable. The man facilitated the cover-up of several rapes and other abuses by his players. And they want to bring him back.
F those Hypocritical Baptist pricks.
Elliott looking to prove himself now that he's enrolled at Texas (Howe).
http://texas.247sports.com/Bolt/Elli...Texas-45803342
While writing this Bolt I remembered thinking at this time last year what a blessing it would be for Texas if the Longhorns landed Elliott. You can't quantify what he and Brandon Jones meant to the 2016 and mean to the future of the Texas defense.
Elliott couldn't be blocked during the practices leading up to the U.S. Army game. He was better than what I remember Hassan Ridgeway being in a similar setting. If he's locked in and focused he's got the ability to take over a game, something the Longhorns need at defensive tackle in a bad way.
Also, put whatever stock you want into high school stats but here's Elliott's line in eight games as a senior:
30 tackles, 10 tackles for loss four sacks, three PBUs, one FF, one FR.
This recruitment will be similar to Eboh, imo.
DE Ondario Robinson of Hutto has named A&M his leader, per 24/7.
OL Matthew Huhn of San Antonio Jay has committed to Houston.
