I'll give him this: He is their defensive linchpin and the clear emotional leader of that team as odious as his theatrics may look to non Warriors fans...It is like the Spurs missing Manu spark in Game 5 of 2014 Finals after we went down 16 in 1st Q..We would have lost that game without Gino's will..

Pretty simple... No Draymond, no Warriors win.
Yeah, your defense is going to suffer if go from Green to Speights and crew. Also Green gets a lot leeway to play "aggressive" on defense that other players won't get.
He's playing Kevin Love, it's a huge matchup advantage for him, tbh... It's Boobie Gibson all over again, he should be dominating in this series...
Can he get suspended the last two games of the season already then? That is the only way they are losing.
Love green, just like bowen a guy you love to have and hate to play against, much more rounded too. But bowen pivoting with the ball and hitting Nash in the groin is not at all comparable to green going for a layup, landing, then jumping again after the whistle and kicking Adams right at his balls. Not similar plays at all IMO.
The arm grab was dirtier than anything bowen ever did too, for all the talk of bowen putting his feet under shooters, what examples are there, two in a decade plus career? Green has already topped him in one postseason. Considering the punishments for olnyk, Wade, the cavs scrub in just the past two seasons, green should have been suspended vs okc.
Typical box score sniffers love to discredit Green in every that they can. "Oh noes, he's not putting up gaudy stats, he's overrated AF" "He's a system player, a product of Steph Curry" "He's a fat, undersized Leon Powe" and so on. Say what you will about his on court antics, but he had the highest on/off differential of any warrior player during the regular season with a + 25.6 (might be tops in the league). His postseason differential is + 13.1 while Chef's is -1.8 and Klay's is -.5.

So he is the piece that holds them together basically.
He's the one who gets the ball to their sharpshooters, and he's been doing a fantastic job in that role.
Such playmaking is sorely lacking in the Spurs' starting lineup right now.
The other guy I think of LMA. Sometimes skill can get in the way of competing as hard as you need to. If you can knock down silky smooth jumpers why dive for loose balls and try to keep possessions alive or fight defensively. Alot of times the guys who aren't as skilled compete the hardest.
Diaw is the closest thing the Spurs have. Can make the pass, rebound, defend bigs/guards, and knockdown 3's. The Warriors wouldn't be nearly as effective without him. You need that release valve when the defense zeros in on Curry/Thompson.
The coward returns...

hater already killed OKC's hope. Will he go all in on the Warriettes?![]()
Great defender because the refs allow him to foul a lot. Everything about his offense is overrated though. He can't take advantage of Waiters or Rj. Dude lives off of his teammates getting doubled and his shot disappears under pressure.
If we want to have a chance vs GSW next year we have to play them with a smaller lineup. We'd actually have a decent chance with a small ball lineup that didn't include a defender like TP.
Is his mom gonnaon twitter to give him back his championship?

Imagine if the Warriors won this thread would have been bumped a bunch of times. In all honesty he's a good role player but not a superstar like a lot of his crazy fans were stating in this thread.
Without Bogut he was even more exposed, tbh...
Best GSW player in the Finals.
