    Eyup.

I wonder if she won't pick Bernie for VP.
No chance in , the Democrats don't want Sanders to be a heartbeat from the presidency. Castro is a much safer choice for them.

Also I can't picture Sanders ever joining a ticket with a conservative democrat like Clinton.

Did the Libyan people deserve what they've been getting since Khadafi and will be for many years too come.

Not kicking (even vicious) sleeping dogs is proving to be much better than regime change.

btw, Tunisian "government", one of the better outcomes of the Arab Spring, just fired about 100 govt employees complaining about govt corruption, which I suppose is step up from just killing them.
Libya was something of an artifice of colonialism, like most countries in Africa/ME. It is therefore an artificial construct, and prone to the kind of divisions we see now.

Dunno if seeing him gone is going to be bad/good in the long run versus leaving his despotic ass there. Torn, just like I am with Iraq.

One has to wonder. I think trying to say it was or wasn't worth it is going to be premature, as this kind of is really long term, i.e. wait 10-20 years before even trying to figure out where to weigh on that good/bad scale.

I dont' think the establishment Dems really are that antagonistic to Bernie. They are smart enough to see the eye-popping demographics of his supporters, and pick out the significance of that.

Are you serious? The guy got no support whatsoever from the superdelegates in a race that would have otherwise been pretty close. Sanders isn't a democrat, he's a democratic socialist. The party is significantly to the right of Bernie. The Democrats don't have to care about their voters (and they don't), they just have to suck less than the far right nationalist party.

    Morals = vote for Trump???

My comment had zero to do with Trump. Nice though to see you freely admit you'd still cast your vote for a person recommended for a federal indictment.

its an election in a 2 party system

when you ask "you would vote for X???" you are always talking about candidate Y, too

FBI won't recommend indictment unless they are absolutely sure of winning. Losing would make them look foolish AND politicized.

Y has no pending criminal indictment.

i'm aware. but mentioning "how can u vote for hillary" in an election where the only (realistic) alternative is trump and then saying "my comment had zero to do with trump" is just

I never asked how. I asked if they could if the FBI recommended an indictment. Quite different. roll eyes emoji

Haven't read many of the leaked emails, nor do I plan on it, but I noticed this broad has a tendency to email someone to ask if they are available to talk on the phone.. Gotta hide that paper trail as best she could IMO

    (sighs heavily)

I will, yet again, do your thinking for you.

Your comment had everything to do with Trump, because the choice is not made in a vacuum. It isn't Clinton or Nothing.

If you want a moral consideration, one has to consider choices.

I have a moral obligation to vote, and to choose the candidate that I think best for the job, based on whatever criteria I deem important.

I will therefore vote, since it is important.

While I can choose among the many candidates, the practical consideration boils down to two at this point.

    Trump

    or

    Clinton

I will happily, enthusiastically, emphatically vote for someone recommended for federal indictment, without one single iota of regret, if my only other realistic choice is Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is the most ed, ill-suited person to hold the presidency than I have seen ever.

I would vote for Dan Quayle, Mitt Romney, Pat Buchannan, or John McCain ahead of Trump.

In a tossup between the vacuus twit Palin and Trump, I might be torn, but I would vote for Palin.

The fact that you think your comment had nothing to do with Trump either reflects a dishonesty, or lack of awareness of that choice.

Which is it, dishonesty, or stupidity?

I see I wasn't the only person, also yet again, to note the error in reasoning. Seems to be a pattern.
