Gotta give Raymond props for showing up during the game and again after the game with a lot of class. Never saw that coming from him.
Draymond should be ashamed of himself.
He got suspended, by rule IIRC. So the league couldn't bail him out.
The Cavs did what they had to do and won game 5. Then protected home court. Then game 7 was a tossed up and could have gone either way.
Warriors, media, everyone just blame Draymond for costing his then 3-1 up team the le by being a punk.

Not sure about that
Game 3 6 points 35 min
Game 4 9 points 42 min
Game 5 suspended for thinking he is Dennis Rodman
Game 6 8 points 42 minutes
Thats more than half the series
Counting points only for Draymond? That makes no sense at all. He's at best their third scoring option, and he led the team in scoring in both game one and game seven. The games that he didn't shoot well he also didn't compound the problem by taking too many shots. He also defends and rebounds, and is probably the team's best passer.
And in game seven, when they needed their best players to step up, he had what will probably be the most overshadowed 32, 15 and 9 in NBA history.
I dislike his bush-league antics as much as anyone else, but the kid can flat out ing play, and he's not afraid of compe ion. The Warriors manage to take the game last night and today we'd be hearing how he's the Ben Wallace of that organization.
I only counted points because GSW has only 3 plays, the 3 pointer, the layup and the alley oop/open backdoor pass and Dray always had big assist numbers because there are just too many good shooters in GSW.
He is always there getting a rebound a block a steal, he is better than the other role players thats for sure.
This thread would be at 50 pages if the Dubs show up/get the right bounce/get refhelped in the 4th quarter last night... just a reminder how thin the line really is when it comes to the playoffs, tbh...
I definitely agree but I think this thread will still end up getting to 50 pages since it's going to be an ongoing debate on Draymond's status as a player that will continue to be debated as long as the Warriors are an elite team.
Now that he's no longer the champ, he might become underrated... swings like that happen all the time, tbh...
Absolutely. The finals came down to both teams missing for 4 1/2 mins and one big shot by Kyrie.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green -- the former Michigan State star and member of this summer's United States Olympic men's basketball team -- was arrested for assault Sunday in East Lansing, according to MLive sources.
Team leader![]()
lmao what a piece of , I'm sure he will get off easy.
Eh, probably just racial profiling, as usual, tbh..
If not, then probably some nobodies targeting Draymond for a payday..he doesn't seem like the type to do this, he comes off as very intelligent and level-headed..
Duncan retires. KD pussies out on his team. Raymond arrested for assault. The league is in such good hands now.
I'm guessing him and some random guy got into it by talking trash. Draymond probably thought he could intimidate the random guy but when it didn't work lost his cool and snapped. He should be able to get out of this. I'm sure Draymond will pay this guy under the table and this will be swept under the rug.
He kick someone in the balls?
What a piece of trash; maybe he'll keep it up like he does with technical fouls.
I'm sure Raymond kicked him in the nuts!![]()
Did Kerr release a statement on how that's all part of playing the game, tbh?
slapped a guy for talking trash to him
If you dish it, take it. Otherwise you prove to be just another hypocritical cry baby.

In the letter, Vivid founder and chairman Steven Hirsch told Green he was impressed by Green's photo and offered him $100,000 to be in a film led, "Drayzilla."
Maybe when he is broke, still overrated Lol.
