I mentioned this yesterday, it would be interesting..

Would the Warriors take a risk on a team cancer, and would Howard accept being benched for stretches? The latter is unlikely, tbh..

I guess we'll see what he truly values..all the players on Houston's roster seem to hate each other, it would be a disaster to extend the run

Not sure how Howard with his limited passing skills can fit into the GSW offense. Their defense will improve though.

Howard in GS would be a beast. Remember how effective he was in Orlando when he had good outside shooting to open up the middle. Houston is broken, he's part of the reason why, but in the right role he'd be effective. You'd just have to mitigate his immaturity in meaningful games through creative subs utions. Also, he's a huge hack target.

If I were State would rather him using all of Verejao's/Speights and Fezeli's minutes ... and I HATE Dwight.
He also played in a 3 point heavy offense under SVG when they made their Finals run in 2009.
Not an ideal fit but I think he could make it work.

Sure, he would not want to sit for long stretches ...but if/when Harrison leaves the lineup of death will be over anyways.

I hope they sign him, that means if he is in the game you can intentionally foul him and disrupt how the Warriors offense flows which is the reason they had such a great season up until they met the Cavs in the Finals.

Plus if they go hackadwight you also put Steph and Klay in the penalty and they dont normally miss FT's ...

If you're in the penalty. Intentionally fouling against GS never slowed them down. It slows the fouling team down though.

I do think a loss opens up a durant to state possibility instead of Dwight.
You let Barnes walk and free up some additional cap space.
Durant still gets to play hero because he would be the difference maker when they face the Cavs for a third straight year ...

Yeah I know, but say he is in the game in the 4th and it's close, before 2min mark he would get fouled and slow them down. Obviously getting into the penalty against the Warriors is a nightmare with the way Thompson and Curry hit FT's.

He was the Magic offense in 09, he will be option #4 in GSW, and he's going to much up their spacing.

He really has no choice. Nobody is going to pay that ridiculous salary of his and he has nowhere else to go.

Howard is on record saying he wants to play post up basketball. Now how he gonna do that on the Warriors?

Post up ball can be inside out as well. If Howard pulls a couple defenders, Steph and Klay go off. What they are doing now in GS will be figured out and there will be an anecdote. They have to keep improving and having other options. Not next season however. They are good to stand pat, even Harrison Barnes. He just had a rough stretch.

I think you guys underestimate the owners.
Cubes will definitely pay him if Dirk doesnt fight it ...

The game itself slows. Then on the ensuing inbounds play Steph or Klay get a wide open 3 because the opposing team is lumbering back up court. I've seen it countless times. You have to run those ers to death, not give them on-court breaks. Hacking would not work against them. The fouling team is distracted by the tactic and people are looking to foul Howard instead of playing ball. I don't think I've seen it actually change the outcome of a game, not for certain.
