Danny and the 29 for Noel and the 24th?
If Noel can get the 3, why do you think he's with Green and the 29?

Malik Beasley certainly seems a target. If Mills is the casualty, this is the sort of player you go for.
    That would be bad a**

He's not getting three by himself, apparently. If so, the deal would be done already.

Why would it be done already? Any rumors have the Celtics discussing him or Okafor.

    Jonathan Givony @DraftExpress

Market for Nerlens Noel seems to be far overstated by some. More likely he fetches a late lottery pick in a trade as opposed to top-5 pick.

Let me explain.. He's more NBA ready to run a Brett Brown system and actually do something in it than a rookie coming in and having to learn his role etc.. He's been apart of a championship team and championship team runs. Good glue guy.

While I can understand that argument as to why the Sixers would want him and even why a guy like Noel would be available for Green, I don't think anyone would consider Danny a better talent than Simmons (even if I think he's going to bust).

It's not that he doesn't his own age, it's just that they lie about it.

I mean, Hawks still want to give up their 12th pick (unless something has changed from yesterday). Celtics have a ton of picks too. Who knows what Philly is planning to do but they're active.

I hope Danny Green is not traded. Very little chance they get fair value for him, and dumping him one season after that huge discount would be awful. At least give him two seasons before dumping. His contact is so cheap compared to value that I would turn down 12 without blinking.

These teams stockpiled on draft picks in hopes of cashing them in a trade for an all-star. That didn't work and so now they are sweating bc they actually have to draft someone.

Danny's inability to dribble and to create is more of a liability than is defense can make up for.

Like that other guy from Florida a couple of years ago with the magical 3 point shot ... ooh, what a steal in the second round ... and never heard from again ... please no more of those.

I agree that it sounds ridiculous that Danny Green is better than 1-10. In reality, 5 of the top 10 will fail out of the NBA and 3 may never be starters on an NBA team. But they all have the potential to be better than Green and they are younger, so why not gamble on the lottery. If one of those teams needed a 3-D and had enough talent at other positions, it's conceivable they might make that trade, but we're talking about teams that are in the bottom part of the lottery.

Mock draft 10.0 on ESPN has us taking Isaiah cousins. I think this would be a good pick but in the second round. I mentioned him in the draft thread. This guy is a gym rat. He is a combo guard and a really good defender. Not my first selection but he is a for year player and would be ready to play day one.

What about Domantas Sabonis? Is he better than that Giminski guy from Wisconsin who just tiptoed his was through his rookie season? Cowherd was mildly promoting Sabonis as a good pick today.
