According to Adrian Wojnarowski's twitter: Several Western teams aggressive on Thad Young, whom Brooklyn’s working to move to highest bidder. This gets Nets into first-round.

Their first rounder won't be enough even with a Sean Marks discount.

Other than being a decent player I don't see what holes Thad would fill?

It could make sense if the Spurs know Tim and Manu are returning. They could trade Diaw, Mills, and their first and then have about $18 million to spend between Tim, Manu, West, Marjanovic, and a backup point guard.

Sean Marks being their GM doesn't hurt. The Spurs don't have a high draft pick, but they could get a third team involved.

Maybe Marks would want some of the stashed rights as well to fill out his crappy roster? Hanga could definitely get minutes there.

That's a team which could use a guy like Kyle.

Why would SA fans want him? He would eat up cap space and not really fill any needs.

Good for both teams. BKY hitting full on reset button have absurd amount of cap space now. They need draft picks to rebuild and cleared a ton of salary for a player they were going no where with. Have to think Brook might be moved?

If they think they can land FAs you keep Brook but getting a lottery pick and player (young in age) for Brook is an option.

Pacers still have cap space even taking Thad with no outgoing salary and have turned Hill & #20 into Teague/Young. They added depth & talent and still have money to add more players.

They needed to change. They were mediocre in every way so I get making moves.

Adding Young, and I think after talking up Turner as center for next year by Bird iirc, might mean they're moving on from Ian.

So Teague, Miles, George, Young and Turner? That is pace and space. Still has to fill out that bench, though. Monta and Lavoy Allen are only so-so pieces.

Yeah, Indy has done really well with these two trades.

It's awkward fits for Indy but they added known actual NBA talent still in prime years. They turned a late-ish 1st into a guaranteed NBA player that's under contract & still doesn't mess up their ability to make moves.

Let's see what Indy extends Teague to.

Bird has taken Joe Lacob's bait & gone all in on Small-Ball.

    I guess they aren't re-signing Ian?
