Prolly gonna re-watch the episode. Jaw dropping reversal of fortune for cercei.
On the after show they mentioned it's possible Jon snow could be the offsprjng of the mad king
Killing Margaery tempered the otherwise gratifying death of the sparrows.
Still trying to figure out how Varys got from Dorne to the deck of that ship.
Figured Lyanna and Rhaegar were Jon Snow's real parents for some time now.
Remember how the psychic witch (frog) told Cersei as a child your 3 children will die tragically before you...then a beautiful young queen will conquer you after you take the throne and your younger brother will choke you to death.
I think its obvious whats going to happen...Cersei thought she was being replaced by Margary Tyrell but its really Danaeyrs who is coming for her and will take over the iron throne. The only question is will it be Jamie who strangles her to death or Tyrion? Jamie is her twin but she has mentioned shes older as she was born first...would be a pretty epic twist and Jamie doesnt look happy about her taking over the iron throne
People have been zipping all over the globe these last two seasons at unbelievable speeds. Varys, Littlefinger, Arya, the Greyjoys... just have to chalk it up to the show trying to speed things along.
I think it would mean a lot more for Jamie to kill her, for several reasons. But I also wouldn't be surprised if Arya kills her. In any case though, the actress is signed on through season 8, so I don't think Cersei will die soon.
Cersei is going to have to do some serious scheming to survive though. Daenerys' army plus the Martells and Tyrells is going to be too much for the Lannisters to combat. I also expect the Tarlys (Sam's family) to throw in with Daenerys also as they fought on the Targaryen side during Robert's rebellion and are located in the South.
That little lady Mormont is a badass. I hope she grows up to be a major player.
I also haven't read the books but my guess is all the houses will have to focus on the white walkers before they do major damage to each other fighting amongst themselves.
For a second as I was watching the flashback scene I thought there might be some incestous going on between Lyanna and Ned. Then I remembered that r+l=s stuff.![]()
The question is who is going to fight for the Lannisters. I suspect season 7 will be all about bringing down their house and building up to the war with the white walkers. Season 8 will likely be one big war. Still disappointed they didn't give a better end to the Black Fish. Frey even mocks this by stating that he died by the hand of foot soldiers. The King of the North had to be one of the best scenes in the series. I thought the lead in from the flashback to all the houses pledging loyalty was nothing short of TV excellence.
Little lady Mormont really made that scene. I rewinded 3-4 times for her little speech since it was so awesome tbh.
Hopefully not...she is the 2nd worst villain in the entire show next to the night king. Though I really liked Ramsay because he was the perfect bad guy for Jon Snow
Am I the only person who thinks Lady Mormont is a silly character?
I feel like everybody's cheering "good job" like it's a Christmas pageant or something. It's not that the character or the actress is bad, I just don't get the enthusiasm either.
^^she fits in well in the world of GOT, though, tbh..
I've never understood how people can cheer for the Starks, outside of Jon Snow and Arya..they are sooooo corny, particularly Ned and his wife + Robb..I cringed when I read those theories regarding Catlyn Stark returning as a zombie or whatever..I'm really hoping they don't implement that storyline in the show, she was the tiest character on GOT IMO..
My hate list:
1. Catlyn Stark
2. Robb Stark
3. All the Dorne women
4. Daenarys of the past few seasons
5. Jorah Mormont
Were people actually cheering Ned and Catelyn? Feels like they've been dead forever, along with Robb.
Agree with Dorne women...irrelevant and annoying. Jorah's cuckholdness is ridiculous.
1. Septon Priest (died too painlessly)
2. Fat Bookworm (Him or Jorah comepting in betalympics)
3. Cersei (her stupidly/backefired plans are sitcom-worthy)
4. Jorah
5. Dorne women or Carcetti
Catlyn is a widely hated character among book readers. You're not alone. She was a dumb .
Not in a single episode like that.
There is a underwater hyperloop train that varys tool
Varys crossed the narrow sea twice this episode.
The second time seemed quick.
I think it's within reason to assume that last scene occurred months after the rest of the episode.
Would have to be to prep all those ships with Targ sails.
Agreed. That transition from the baby to adult Jon leading into the King of the North scene was fantastic.
"The dwarf lives until we find a merchant."
That is actually a line in a tv show.
