I'm thinking it's Biyombo. What other big man would have Toronto that high on their list.
    Pau Gasol?

It's Bonner or Biyombo. Wouldn't mind the latter if Duncan is returning.

Has to be Biyombo. If it was Gasol, I think Chicago would have still been listed.

EDIT: You're kidding yourself, ttm. Of course, it's Bonner.

I don't agree. Chicago is in full rebuild. Gasol wants no parts of that. It really could be either player in Biyombo or Gasol. I would still assume it's more Biyombo with Toronto in mix.

Has to be Pau, Biyombo doesn't make sense for the Cavs but Pau can sign for the MLE. Knicks have been rumored to be a potential suitor & Toronto is a cosmopolitan city that would suit Pau.

Yep. Plus there's the CoJo connection in Toronto. Probably convinced Biyombo to consider the Spurs. Just like David West/George Hill in Indiana. But Pau has openly said he would play here so I still think it's him.

If Biyombo is interested in the Spurs, Boris could play a big role in recruiting him: http://www.basketballinsiders.com/nba-pm-diaw-has-unlikely-pupil-in-biyombo/

“That’s like my big brother,” Biyombo said. “He took care of me like [I was] his little brother and taught me a lot about the NBA. He was always there, so I appreciate him.”

I also remember this tweet that made me laugh at the time but not anymore after last season..

I mean I like Biyombo and he's definitely earned a pay day. Just scary giving money to a player that recently just blew up and is not offensively gifted at all really.

He would stack SA's defense/rebounding though - I wonder how much he really gets?

Biyombo would be a nice get to pair him with LMA. That defense would be great. If we could upgrade or even side grade our starting pg, it would be nice end for TD/Manu/TP to come off the bench. That chemistry for 15 to 20 mins a game.

Of course, this means no Durant. And if Durant goes to Warriors, or if Thunder keep him and snagged Horford, it's mute anyway.

Biyombo is the young athletic big we need but I wouldn't be upset with Gasol either. I don't care what anyone here says, there are not many other getable bigs with that much size and skill out there right now.

Sources: Minnesota declining option on forward Damjan Rudez, who shot 41 percent on 3's for Pacers in 2014-'15. Another shooter on market.

Someone is going to be foolish enough to offer Biyombo the max and for that I'd rather the Spurs wait until 2017 if they strike out this season
