Apparently, Kawhi Leonard has a personal matter and won't be attending the meeting. What could be more important than meeting with a generational talent like KD and trying to convince him to join the team? Unless, of course, that generational talent plays your position.

See, I don't like Green, but this is smart. Big 1 year deal, no risk after that. You have money to spend and this gives them a one year Look at their Tobias Harris replacement with no risk since they had to spend the money anyways. ORL still has 15M left too.

ORL got rid of Dipo, Ersan & Sabonis. Brought in Ibaka, Green, Meeks, etc..

Yeah, I thought of that but, there's no reason to hide it unless you're not the father. I just find it very puzzling that your best player would rather attend to a personal matter rather than help convince one of the five best players in the game to join your team. My definition of a personal matter is one in which the player doesn't want to disclose publicly. A birth of his child doesn't fit that description..

Thanks. As you mentioned in the other thread, I'd be really worried about Dallas driving up the price or poaching him outright. How serious are the rumors about Bourousis or even Lorbek? Or bringing Milutinov over? Lorbek at least will get a workout, I think.

Lorbek is in that SL/Utah list and Cady, for what it's worth. At least Cady is en led to the QO.
