can we get andrew nicholson, how much would he cost?
I'd check out Matt Barnes, Zaza or Jared Sullinger.

Bogut only started 3 games while Barnes' soft ass started as GSW big at points
Trick question.
Seems like a good fit on paper though. Dwight fixes their weaknesses in rim protection and rebounding. Who knows, maybe it actually works out since there's no Kobe or Harden in the picture.
What happened with that Willie Reed nicca? I'd want him cuz my 1st name is Willie too.. lol
Read somewhere Splitter is available... If Tim retires, getting Splitter+Gasol this offseason would be pretty nice.
Splitter has only one year left on his contract. Unless there is a player who is willing to take a 1 year contract that can play better than a half healthy Splitter, it might be worth a look (If TD retires).
So true! It would be like Kawhi do you have anything to say to KD! No! The claw does not speak!

Free agent Luol Deng has reached agreement on a four-year, $72 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, league sources tell The Vertical.
Holy Luol Deng. lol. Wow. Nice, cheap contract.
Now that's a contract. They're definitely not good enough to compete now, so this will likely end up as paying for a trade piece. Nothing wrong with that, I guess.
Deng, Clarkson and Mosgov for $186 million
Lakers just spend 136 mil on Mozgov and Deng.
I mean something like 2 years/$36 million might not have been too bad...but giving Deng a 4 year deal when he's already 31? Sheesh.
There should be an interesting secondary market for trades when teams try to sign big name free agents. Either getting the primary piece or trying to keep the primary players happy by getting additional big name FA's.
It will be in the a.m. so Pop can use this classic line:

I'm drinking coffee here wondering when this meeting will take place. I have a feeling we will land durant.
Lol. No.
Lakers Lineup
Russell
Clarkson
Ingram
Deng
Mozgov
They got Deng to be their Green.
I imagine the meeting with Durant has started or is about to start. Pop, RC, LMA and anyone else?
I don't see Julius Randle coming off the bench.
Christ, the Lakers won't be relevant for years. Okay by me.
The Spurs are doing due diligence with Durant, but will most likely look more closely at Gasol. If that does not seem like a fit the look for Roy Hibbert to emerge as a new possible Spur.
Thoughts on Brandon Wright if Memphis is looking to ditch some salary?
