If Durant is a no , splitter becomes main option. Even Above gasol. The guy was a blast when healthy. Block on wade comes to mind. And the beautiful partnership with manu.
I'd take Tiago back. But can he stay healthy?
Ian, Pau and an assortment of foreign bigs look like our selection for Timmy replacement (or supplements if he comes back). Pau and Ian may actually be too expensive in this market.

Let's game this out, what happens after:
1. KD politely declined Spurs
2. Spurs offer Pau the full MLE (ugh!)
3. Spurs sign Bertans with full LLE (or whatever it's called now)
4. LJC and Murray signed to rookie deals.
The bigs situation is problematic. It's feeling like Timmy is retiring. Boban is very poachable and all but gone. Unless West signs another minimum deal he's gone.
Don't the Spurs HAVE to bring in Mulitinov whether Duncan retires or not?

@daldridgetnt sources say the meeting was intense, at one point durant was crying as kawhi confronted him about his previous "system player" comment. Everyone grew closer and another life lesson was learned

Any idea who actually is there for the Spurs. Has there been a reason given for why Kawhi wasn't able to make it? If they were going after it HARD, you would have to think that Kawhi would have been there. I know he's not the greatest talker, but surely you'd still want him there if you were trying to recruit KD. Hopefully they could do a video teleconference between them.
