He quietly had his best year last season and was among the league leaders in RPM for PFs... not a star, but I think he has turned into a steady reliable vet who can do a few things well.

Kudos to him turning down 6 million more dollars to stay with constructed team.
And the Lakers paid Deng 18 million more
Mid is always right![]()
Williams is basically a younger Deng.
Deng has been a better player but age wise i would think eilliams would make more sense maybe cuz deng is a better teammate.
Marvin Williams was fantastic last year, and totally under the radar because he's not a "name."
FWIW, he had higher stats and metrics than Deng across the board. Who knows though. Maybe Mitch rang and got a "We'll call you."
Hey bro, are you sure about that other bet?I really think Ingram is a year away from putting up decent stats, he probably won't even make All NBA 1st team.
Let's do it. Who is your rookie?
Ahh, ok. This is way too easy, Simmons. It's a deal.

Suns were sniffin' this guy too.
For this off season, this counts as a bargain.
Honesly mid this one stung , I had my eye on this guy for a while now , him or teletovic. He's cheaper and better and younger.
Williams was the #2 pick in the draft went to unc ...deng is just a bigger name cuz he played with bulls. Deng still has had a much better career and is a better all around player ...williama was more efficient in his contract year was happy to see that but deng is much better at most tnhibgs related to basketball. Glad he was better last year than a guy 3 or 4 years older than him ...
I liked williams too but williams is more of a block to randle and ingram and deng is the better defender. My main issue is williams was younger and cheaper ....
