Yeah, that's my point. Earlier I also said I'd rather just give my players more $$$ rather than over bid a mid tier player.

Places like Orlando, Atlanta, who needed to stir the pot and were close to a compe ive team..

But do you think Charlotte, the pelicans, Houston, Lakers got better?

It's not like you can't create role players with some development, and many of these singings aren't role players in the classic sense of skilled specialists but rather just second tier talents without any elite skills .

Wouldn't be surprised to hear "(insert team name here) emerges as front runner for Durant if he leaves. Now 50/50 if he stays in OKC or joins (insert star players) in (insert city)" after the meetings are done tomorrow...maybe even tonight.

Gotta build the intrigue and suspense.
