So do they take Horford to the meetin w KD?

KD either stays in OKC or Boston...Spurs need to move on...
I forgot that OKC wanted Horford. Yeah I'm glad Horford went to Boston then.![]()
if he is not going for gsw, I'm fine with that
2 days into Free Agency. Celtics have young players plus a Brooklyn Nets pick in a stacked draft next year that could net them a star player in a trade....
They somehow get Jimmy Butler or Boogie for those assets within the next day or two, then Durant absolutely has to consider their offer tbh....
It's kind of a junky team with parts that are all over the place. It'll take a few years to get it figured out and that's not a place top tier free agents tend to go to.
In b4 front office suprsies all of spurstalk with a rondo signing![]()
Spurs can target Westbrook next off-season if Durant leaves for Boston.
Agreed. GSW is the only team that becomes unbeatable with Durant.
Lakerfans would be pissed if Durant started to win some rings with the Celtics.![]()
He'd never come here
I'm just looking forward to the players that they'll have to trade or rebounder as a result of this.
I wonder what the market for Greivis Vasquez is like. I wouldn't mind him as a back up 2nd/3rd string pg to help take some of the pressure off Manu and the second unit. Not a blockbuster signing but, a play maker nonetheless who can add depth to the bench.
So Durant pitched another free agent to come to OKC even as he was getting pitches from other teams? Interesting.
Westbrook is going back to LA.
Durant gonna look wierd in Green!
If he never plans to win then I guess that's a good plan.
There's no way Boston is in it for Durant. They now have Horford and...a bunch of overrated, underperforming high first round picks.
Probably thinks he could turn them into a contender all by himself.
Man, the Celtics turn that Nets pick into another legit player and you have to consider it if you're Durant...
Go to the East where your only compe ion is LeBron (that Celtics team would be better) so you have a good shot at being in every Finals for the next 3-4 years + you don't have the stigma of coat-tailing a championship team like he'd have in Golden State so his brand would still be protected...
If money really isn't a factor (I still think the 1+1 option to stay in OKC is the key to keeping him with the Thunder) then Boston seems like a really damn good option tbh,
If GSW loses Barnes they'll take a huge step backwards. I guess they can match but I would think it looks better just to make the max offer themselves.
