He meets with Miami tomorrow morning and the Thunder again tomorrow night. Supposedly he'll make his decision on the 4th. Certainly before he leaves on his publicity tour in the 9th.
All these guys linked, and I bet the Spurs end up with someone random like Ekpe Udoh.

Has Miami tomorrow and then will wrap up with OKC (second meeting).
you're kidding right?
Yeah Aldridge made the decision last year on July 4th. Miami was also the last team he met with, iirc .
A little. It's a bit depressing no? Lots of question marks surrounding this team right now. Yeah they have a ton of time to get things done still.
As is this is still a 55 win team, pushing to 60. Even without Duncan.
Donald Sloan was also linked w/ the Spurs last summer as a CoJo replacement.
No I mean you really think our 67 win team won't be compe ive next season?unless GS gets Durant no one has really improved in the west and spurs could still land gasol. I don't think GS is going to win 70 again and I dont think curry is going to repeat his aberration season. Spurs may not be favorites but they are certainly contenders. don't sleep on kawhi improving tbh
I think Horford going to Boston really mixes things up for the Durant sweepstakes. Durant was pushing for Horford to OKC but Horford wouldn't comit to OKC with Westbrook and KD future uncertain....again if KD was going to sign the plus 1 he already would've IMO. They could've then really moved Kanter and convincing Horford. I've stated I thought KD would sign a 5yr deal and that's a possibility but I think he's gone
Which is stupidly dumb by them to do so
I don't know what moves the Celts would have to make in order to sign both Horford and Durant, but they might jettison some pieces that would be of interest to the Spurs.
they need not do anything only waive one player (maybe the Swedish wing)
Sorry. I still have the bad taste of the playoffs in my mouth. I really soured on some guys. I know. I need to get over it.
I'm just not confident in Boban, Anderson, and Simmons taking the next step.
Our aging pg isn't getting his speed back nor is he going to be able to guard his own man again.
Diaw is more interested in his espresso machine than losing weight.
Mills lost his shot and gets torched on defense.
Manu can no longer lead the bench unit.
Like I said, I know Spurs will do something. There's no guarantee fresh blood puts us over the top either. I'm not worried about the regular season so much. It's watching some of these same guys crumble in the playoffs again that concerns me.
On a decent contract I'd take Jerebko.
They don't need to make any moves.
People said on here that the Spurs should just wait for next offseason where the free agent list will be much better. I agree, tbh. Unless we get Durant, we are gonna have a short offseason. And Pau is still on the market right now, like Lee said.
Yes spurs will still be a top 4-5 team in the league win 50 plus games and should get out the first round yet again but after that....
Pop could out a 55 win team. He's been terrible in the playoffs the last 2 seasons but the Spurs will be just fine in the regular season barring catastrophic injury.
They likely won't win the championship in 2017 but they'll have a chance to make some real noise next offseason.
Or maybe Curry/LeBron/Durant all get injured next year and the Spurs get 6![]()
Clips apparently pissed off Crawford... not a bad short term option?
Curry, Westbrook, Griffin and James aren't signing here. Once they're off the board, the free agents aren't so appealing. Regardless, they're gonna get paid next year when the cap rises again so it's not like the Spurs won't get stuck with a bad contract or two.
Nt many game changers in this list.
