In other words Pau wants to go to a contender, more specifically the Spurs, and is willing to wait on the outcome. This is a real blessing for the Spurs. Pau knows he effed up a couple years ago tbqh.
Pretty clear he's waiting to see if Durant goes to Spurs.

I wished Pop would have started Baynes during the second half of the 14-15 season and had Splitter play backup center. The move would have allowed for Duncan and Splitter to split minutes keeping both of them from being overused (i.e. 28/20 or 30/18)
Mills, Manu, Beli, Diaw, Splitter
Gasol isn't coming to the Spurs. Set your eyes on some other target.
The more I see these insane deals the more insane the deals will be next seasons, regardless of whatever cap space will be free next season for the Spurs they'll have to overspend or pay "market value" for some scrubs who might not even be game changers..
Some form of iden y needs to be constructed soon in order to get an idea of what the future is going to bring. Is this Kawhi's team? If so then start finding pieces both starting and bench players that compliment his abilities and talent and potential. Or are we going to be a committee team in which case we will need to jettison players that keep us afloat and load up with 3 or 4 superstars and surround them with scrubs..
No thanks, don't like his game at all.
Nathan89 how about kris hump ohh the stories he would have about Kim kardashians ase
If Durant makes his decision on independence day![]()
He's the Warriors plan B so that's not actually a good thing.
The Decision- Part Two
If Pau chooses San Antonio and we continue to have interest then it'll be a 25/2 year deal.
Or Maybe he'll go cheaper for long term deal.. 40/4 team option on the 4th year
Correct, according to the GSW fanboys below. So if the Spurs want Gasol, they should give up the Durant delusion.
Well maybe it isn't a delusion
Man.. imagine if Parkers deal was expiring right now or next season.. imagine what we could get back on a sign and trade.. the value would be great..

@JCrossover might as well come to Boston my brotha lol. I know we would take you!
Wow was reported there was
It has been foretold....
Just read a tweet that said Conley is going to make over $370K per game with this contract. PER GAME. I almost threw up.
If true, that is the dumbest move I've ever seen. He will never live up to that deal causing resentment from his teammates and fans.
We'd be scrambling to find a starting PG among this horrible class of FA PGs tbh. We probably would've thrown the kitchen sink at Conley.
Yep, he is not a difference maker and they are still 1st or second round exits with him on the team. I don't blame him for taking it but that team will regret that contract, book it.
