ok everyone answer this for me, why would durant go to the Warriors? If they would give him max, they would not be able to give max to curry, Green, and Thompson. And if you think those 3 guys are taking a pay cut and handing over the keys to the city to Durant, you're crazy. Not in their prime they aren't. They've already got a le and lost in the finals this year. this isn't a Heat/Lebron situation here

It will be funny if all the teams courting Durant move on, forcing him to re-sign with OKC, then Westbrook, who's watching all this and feeling no love from KD, leaves OKC next season. I can totally see that happening.

Okay... This is what I envision for our offense with you KD.. Come over here and stand right here.. Okay, any second now Parker is going to pass the ball to you.. any second now.. shot clocks at 5 so get ready..
    5 seconds? That is generous!

They have Bird Rights, they can max Curry, and Thompson and Green are locked up already until 2019-20. He'd go to the Warriors because they'd be the most stacked team in league history by far.

My inside sauces tell me that Durant to Golden State is a done deal because Steve Kerr started crying in their 9 hour meeting and Curry tickled his balls while blowing him.

Brady also mentioned in the meeting he believes the key to beating Golden State in a playoff series is to deflate the basketball just a tad. just kidding.

Much of the appeal for Durant in OKC has to be Westbrook staying there long-term from a compe iveness pov. Without that assurance, there is a decent chance he leaves. I would think GS is the top choice outside of OKC as has been reported.

Anyways, the new cap NBA is insane. Good thing the Spurs locked in those guys last summer at the old rates.
Even with Westool in the bag its a 2 man show and West tends to brick a lot, in SA he could have more help, more rest and still be among the best of the west, at least on paper because our bench proved to be a tsunami of disappointments.

You always had to figure it would be a longshot. This isn't like LMA bailing off a sinking ship to a franchise with stability. Durant would be a leaving a top le contender that just got a lot better for a team that might not be as good. If he comes to the Spurs he's in a monster starting lineup with Leonard and Aldridge, but what's the depth like when the Spurs have to salary dump multiple players to fit his contract in? Meanwhile he has a monster starting lineup in OKC with Westbrook, Adams, Oladipo. But he has a bench too with guys like Waiters, Roberson, and Ilyasova. I think he'd be a fool to leave. Though he should have committed to OKC today so they could dump Kanter for Horford. Maybe he didn't want to look unprofessional canceling his meetings when teams were flying out to his place, but it cost his team big.

I think the report was talking about how the Celtics brought in Brady, and signed Horford and how that overshadowed everyone for the day because of what they did. It's going to be a tough choice for Kevin but I think we have a good shot at him as another of those other teams.

One thing the Spurs have that the others don't is Pop. Who of Which, KD always speaks so highly of. I'm sure all of kd's basketball concerns were answered along with a different insight on life.

I get the feeling it's the Spurs tbh. They have more money to offer, he's wanting to focus strictly on basketball which is I'm sure all that the Spurs pitched. KD got to hear LMA tell him how great of a decision it was for him. It's got to be nice for KD to see that a free agent like LMA come in and immediately gain enough respect to travel and recruit others the following year. KD is also very familiar with the state. He's got huge respect for Pop. I think it's Spurs over any outsiders.
KD wants to focus on basketball and Bostons trying to recruit him with NFL players
Come on ST... Do you really expect the media to hype up San Antonio as the favorites. Let's be patient and see if PATFO can get another meeting, or hopefully those two hours hit home with KD.

I mean come on ST... All we heard today was KD being blown away by the clippers and they have already been ruled out...

Waiters is probably leaving tho no? and I think dipo for ibaka doesn't really make them better. they need shooters imo
