Assuming we get Gasol, who are some other players you'd like to take a closer look at? There aren't really any impact players remaining though.

    Some players I like:

    Willie Reed
    Dewayne Dedmon
    Thomas Robinson
    Moe Harkless
    Gerald Henderson
Lance Stephenson (yeah, yeah I know)
    Wayne Ellington
    Seth Curry

I would take a look at Seth Curry, he showed some signs toward the end of the season.

Gerald Henderson could actually fit in this rotation. No to Harkless and Thomas Robinson.

Greivis Vasquez unless the Spurs are bound and determined to run Ginobili into the ground for the upteenth year in a row.

Dedmon was my #1 choice going into the off-season, but haven't heard anything about him after Orlando extended their QO..

There aren't any penetrating guards on the market, so assuming the Spurs acquire Gasol, I'd prefer a rebounding specialist vs. the Warriors..unfortunately, Thomas Robinson may be the only option, and he's really bad at basketball..

Another perimeter player to help Leonard/Green on defense is essential, but pointless to acquire when they already have young players on the roster(Simmons, Kyle)..

Isn't that why they have Kyle?

Seth Curry can come in and hit a shot when Patty, Tony or Danny are streaking to icy.

Philly signed Sergio Rodriguez one year $8 million deal.

Unfortunately the Spurs dont't have much to work with but outside the box there must be good deals out there.

Spurs is also a great team to look good in if you have reasonable basketball IQ.

Give Jarnell Stokes a shot before Thomas Robinson.

I like Harkless especially cause he does have some defense prowess and he is young. Question will be is he better than Livio in the FO'so eyes to go after?

Is Moe Harkless off the table? I know the Blazers want to keep him, but the word was that they might have to give him up to clear cap. Full 50% of his shots come in the paint.

As much as ppl troll Kyle they won't get a better defender and versatile player than him for 1 mill. They also need to find out what they really have in him and JSimms b4 letting them go for peanuts on the market. And one thing can be said fir both guys they are hungry for the opportunity. There are no better guts, out there with the, seasons the had and the stats they both put up that you can ha e for roughly a mill each. Seth Curry I though off bc sometimes they needed a shooter even to sub Tony out in a bad night.

It would be stupid to give up on Kyle now, he has a few years in the system and he's still young and cheap..he also showed some flashes during the Regular Season..

This season could be his "make or break" with the Spurs, though..he needs to start displaying consistency and prove that he's a legit rotation player in the playoffs..

Yeah, the team needs another playmaker or at the very least a guy who can get to the basket that's why I put Stephenson in there. I guess we just have to hope Simmons has significantly improved from last season and Murray develops at a miraculous rate. As for the bigs, LMA/Gasol/Diaw/Boban are all extremely skilled on offense so we don't really need anything but a solid rebounder/defender. I think there are some decent options left but I'm not sure if the team has enough $$$ to get one of them.
