Save the money for next year when Derrick Rose, George Hill and Tony Allen become free agents.

I'd prefer a rebounding specialist vs. the Warriors..unfortunately, Thomas Robinson may be the only option, and he's really bad at basketball..
Jarnell Stokes is actually an intriguing prospect, he is a fit & more skilled version of Blair who could probably replace D-Worst for cheap.

Seth Curry can come in and hit a shot when Patty, Tony or Danny are streaking to icy.
Wouldn't be surprised if Seth signed w/ GSW if they lose Barbosa. They could also bring back Jarett Jack.

Just say NO to Greivis Vasquez. No more slow ass players who can't stay in front of anyone.

I'd guess the Spurs are relatively content and if they're going to make a splash it'll be via trade before the next deadline.

One interesting option-- considering how different Duncan felt at the end of the season compared with the beginning-- is him retiring now, but coming out of retirement after next season's all star break to boost the bench.

Dedmon? Do you mean Marcus Demnon, that scrub we drafted years ago?

I wouldn't mind the Spurs kicking the tires on Lance Stephenson. He has talent, I just am not sure if the Spurs culture can fix him. Has it really come down to Thomas Robinson/Lance Stephenson time? What an insane off season...

Jarnell Stokes seems like a "Spurs" type of player too. I actually wouldn't mind him being the D West/Bobo replacement if they are going to scrape the bottom.

Assuming we get Gasol, who are some other players you'd like to take a closer look at? There aren't really any impact players remaining though.

    Some players I like:

    Willie Reed
    Dewayne Dedmon
    Thomas Robinson
    Moe Harkless
    Gerald Henderson
Lance Stephenson (yeah, yeah I know)
    Wayne Ellington
    Seth Curry
Looking like Willie Reed is a possibility now that Zaza & Hibbert are off the market.

Seth Curry to Dallas, which is also going to grab the Warriors sloppy seconds. Not sure where Wade will end up but it seems this offseason is done for the Spurs.

Henderson and Harkness are the only three/fours that I see as fits. Not a lot of room for Robinson.

Gerald Henderson could actually fit in this rotation. No to Harkless and Thomas Robinson.
Um, Harkless played well last season and can easily play either the 3 or 4 position. Depending on who else we sign or retain, Harkless and Reed would be go value signings for a cash strapped team. Neither would be huge impact players, but could help balance out the bench with some youth and athleticism.

I agree. Would def like the addition of Harlkess. Unfortunately, I think the FO looks at LJC as a Harkless and would be a redundant add. Anyone heard anymore more about LJC and if he is even going to play summer ball or ?

We also have KA and Bertans as 3 or 4.

Harkless has actual NBA experience and isn't a complete unknown like Jean Charles. Dedmon and Stokes (who I'm surprised wasn't called up last season) would also be solid back ups behind Aldridge and Gasol.

I agree, but I am speaking from a FO and cap perspective with LJC already on the books so... to get another SF/PF/tweener with LJC, Bertrans, Anderson, Green, and Kawhi... just doesn't seem like their plan even though I am also a fan of Harkless too.

Sorry but I see Harkless in person far more than you. And he's not what the Spurs are looking for.
