you were wrong about saying that trading tp, green, and bonner for dragic, whiteside, and mcroberts this past season would've been abysmal
That is a ty trade. I don't want Dragic, and Whiteside would have just walked. I wanted McRoberts before the Heat signed him, and getting him for free is completely different than trading assets for him. I've never seen someone so consistently obtuse about why people hated his trade proposal.

I think he'll get away with lot more.

The refs in the regular season did their best to make sure the Warriors were near invincible, they let so much to from Golden State that it couldn't have been coincidence. Now with Durant on board ZaZa and Draymond have a license to kill.
We'll see. The worm might have turned on the Warriors. After Lacob's statements, Green finally ball-kicking one too many times, and LeBron's ascension, and then Lil Kevie's -ass move, they're no longer America's darlings.

Warriors expressed interest in Dedmon, but haven't heard anything about the Spurs..I hope they inquired, at least..

They could potentially replace Ezeli for mich cheaper..

Agreed. At first I thought the signing of this dirty s bag would make them even worse. But the league finally decided to crack down on Draymond during the finals so I think that team will be under more scrutiny. That's one thing I'll be interested in following. How many Draymond/Zaza dirty plays get called out by the refs.

Would be very annoyed if the Spurs could have gotten Dedmon for the minimum, tbh..he was my #1 choice heading into the off-season..

Spurs can't pay more than GS. Why bother with the Spurs when he can get a free ring if he has to play for the minimum?

Abysmal for the Heat. No way they would have done that deal.
exactly! i was never arguing the plausibility.

but chinook thinks it would've been awful for us:

True..he could also put up Ezeli numbers with GS's supporting cast, too..

Would be an impressive front office move for them IMO..shouldn't be surprised, at this point, their FO is probably the best in the L..

ZaZa is a terrible rim protector.

Of course they can pay more. If the Diaw rumors are true, they have a out $3 Million, and if Tim is stretched, they have $7 Million.

He was really solid his last year in Milwaukee, and then pretty decent for Dallas last year too. He's not some amazing player by any means, but he's certainly a better big than I expected them to be able to land.
Yep, they are going to start getting steals around the big 4 now as folks are ring chasing. The Heat got that too, most said but they won't have a bench! Then they suddenly got some vets on the team and the rest is history.

I'm not so sure about the numbers. We don't know what Pau's starting number is, or even the exact total, only that it's $30+. We still don't know about Bertans and his deal. Don't know about Manu and how much he is holding them up for. Don't know if they're using first round holds for LJC or Milutinov. , one of them could be sent out with Boris.

So, maybe the Spurs can do more, but enough to turn down the Warriors?
