Kyle has obviously been turned by Pop into a 4, he's added muscle and is learning that spot. I definitely believe he needs to improve a lot but its not like he hasn't changed. More like he's in the process of changing.

Simmons is pretty much the same but if he shoots the 3 when he's open that is an improvement. His game is pretty much the same though. I am not sure what you wanted to see.

I wanted to see either of those guys looking like they have a season or two in the NBA under their belts. You know, actually standing out from this crud of D-Leaguers. There's no such thing here, unfortunately. They might score 20, but because they're the go to guys, not because they're dominating. I didn't expect either to look like Kawhi in his summer league, but more than just same old same old. Kyle looks different physically and that's it. He's the least of my worried though, since he'll be parked behind Kawhi anyways.

The Spurs will have to look somewhere else if they want to have a compe ive bench this season. Like I said, I hope Murray stands out, maybe Cady has taken a step forward. Otherwise, if Boris is really gone, it's gonna be problematic.

yeah I have the same concern. KA and Simmons don't look like NBA players yet. That is no bueno when they are playing d-league fodder.

You saw a different highlight reel, then. He hit about 25% of his shots - including dunks - in the highlight reel I saw just after the draft. Turned the ball over. Over-hyped "athleticism". Believe me, I hope I am wrong.
