Hard to believe but true.

A few nights ago I'm looking for a movie on NETFLIX. After that long search I find one, it's a movie about the first family of country music The Carter Family. In the movie Maybelle talks about having to record a song she didn't like and didn't want to record, but that wasn't her decision, the song..Single Girl, Married Girl...a song I had never heard which shocked me, I thought I'd heard all their stuff.

I was on my way to youtube when we lost power in the home, come to find out a drunk had knocked over a power line. We spent the night at grannies.

Anyway...

The next morning the power was still down and I had some errands to run, one was to pick up some stamps ar Mailbox West. Right next door is a Goodwill, so I stop in. Books and CD's is why I stop in, yep, you guessed it....."Country Premium" is the name of the CD, we have Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys, Bill Monroe, Johnny Cash and The Carter Family AND...."Single Girl, Married Girl".......what are the odds?

And, a chant...Eighteen Hammers.....by a black Mississippi prison work gang. County????

I have seen Aries and agree with you, so how long before he's in the big show? Not familiar with Nakamura....yet. We record RAW, I just happen to once in awhile find NXT.

I doubt they stay in NXT longer than another year, along with Samoa Joe, who is terrific as well imo

Didn't watch TNA, but he was their main draw for quite some time from what I understand. The way he wrestles he could go another 10-15 years he's a submission expert; doesn't take too many risks but is a safe worker. Wouldn't be surprised if he's WWE world champ in the next 3 years.

Why isn't Prince Puma in the WWE? His recent match was Misterio on LU was a good as it gets. The WWE could use this kid.




The WWE, started out as the WWWF, World Wide Wrestling Federation in the early 60's. Their first world champion was "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers who beat Antonio Rocca in a tournament in Rio, yep, total BS, that never happened. Rogers was just given the belt.

Here we have the greatest Mexican rassler ever the great Mil Mascaras vs "Superstar" Billy Graham who was also a legend.





We are seeing some history there, Mascaras was the first rassler allowed to wear a mask in New York.



Prior to 1970 the rasslin' biz was all about territories, and everyone respected that. We had....

Lou Thesz vs Verne Gagne...........wow! It's not about the actual in ring action as it is the fact these two legends/greats are in the ring together, this was HUGE.
