Best FPS for Late 2015/Early 2016 NOT named DOOM?

Thread le says it all but I don't want to play a "kill the monsters" game. What is out there FPS (not Hitman style) other than Uncharted and the COD les? I'm not into role playing games and won't take the time to learn all the you need to do in order to be good at it (and don't want to play online with gots cheating and acting stupid).

Based on what you described, probably nothing. if you have an xbox then probably Halo 5. or you can play GTA V in first person

It's slightly older, but I would still absolutely recommend Wolfenstein: The New Order. I played it some months ago and it was one of the best single-player FPS experiences I've ever had.

It's better than any recent FPS i can think of. And you can shoot too.

Battlefront and Overwatch are probably the best now. Before them you have to go all the way back to Battlefield 4 and Far Cry 4 for a decent FPS. Battlefield Hardline was , R6 Siege looks lousy, COD AW and Black Ops III suck (though not as bad as COD IW looks).

If you're looking for SP fps there is nothing good since Far Cry 4.

A lot of people consider games like that to be first person but they don't get it. I don't want to see the top of the guys head (that's more your thing I understand). So I am thwarting all the "close to" suggestions. True FPS.. only.

I have PS4 but I am wanting it for PC.

I'm not completely against stuff like Assassin's Creed, but it has to be really good and yeah I know that's not FPS.
