The second one is in spanish, but he says that "As expected, I will continue my career in San Antonio. I will play my 15th season with the same team. Great privilege!"
Great news!
Hopefully it's for the 15 million!!!![]()
The Manu farewell tour... I think I may need to make another trip across the pond.
as expected after he said he will play another season ...
Per Par.. nothing to see here.
Better be for the minimum or he could've played for the Austin Toros for all I care
Excellent! So Boban is likely gone or Patty? Or both? I need to do my numbers.
Roster as of now
Parker/Mills/Murray
Green/Manu/Simmons
Leonard/Bertans
Aldridge/Anderson
Pau
Manu and Gasol pick and roll shall be the most unstoppable weapon in basketball!
stronger than the of the reptilian aliens, hahahahahahahaha
I really, really hope he does everything he can to stay healthy. And he can't carry the bench anymore. Just be a decoy and facilitator, and really work that 3-point shot.
He has stayed relatively healthy the past couple of years, so I'm expecting a big injury this year following his last olympic games. it's about time.
Was he evolving into a good spot-up 3-point specialist, or was that just my hope-skewed view?
And?? Probably from a garbage team.
I wonder if this is just bull or if some team actually tried throwing like $10+ million at Manu for a 1-year deal. Can't imagine any team would do that. Manu is a great piece for a contender looking to improve, but I don't think any contenders have that sort of money (certainly not to throw at Manu). If it's a middling or garbage team, I don't know why the they'd want to spend that money on him either. *shrugs*
Anyways, guesses on how much money he got from SA?
i wonder from who. pistons? lol
I could see the Lakers signing him to bring some salt to those young kids over there.
So what does it all mean and where's this money coming from? Is it from Duncan retiring? Is it from Boban leaving?
Operating over the cap so they'll just pay him whatever.. He's probably making 7 or 8 this year
considering the wing options available to replacement him right now I'm happy he's coming back
Doubt it. A man of Manu's age serves no purpose to a rebuilding team. It surely was from a playoffs team, most likely a contender. I wouldn't be shocked if it was from GS, tbh. They lost some depth and Kerr loves Manu's game.
