I think it's still up fir debate as he hasn't been resigned yet. But my take wasn't that he should or shouldn't so much as wanting to see what others thought.![]()
Never seen SAgirl so defensive. Look like Harlem up in here trying to defend his ty LMA take. Just admit you were wrong, take your L, and move along.

Please reread your OP and try to say that with a straight face. Its very apparent you were trying to say we shouldn't keep him. Just stop, your sinking further and further into the quicksand the more you struggle.
Take your L and move along. Its getting sad at this point.
Lol after Brazil got me, this doesn't get to me.![]()
Unlike Harlem who said he was wrong in his other thread. OP doesn't have the balls to say she's wrong. Not a good sign when you lose credibility like that. If OP had any to begin with.
Just give Kyle more time, he will get there
" Boban, he isn't a keeper.
This thread.
Dude got paid 20mil for the next 3 years.![]()
It's the market. That's actually a very affordable contract like 5% of the cap and they had money to spend. Have to him in backup minutes and his numbers than to see if the deal was worth it. But imo Stan will get the most out of him. He'll use the pick and roll almost exclusively with him and feature him
Wasn't a keeper at the end of the day...at ppl trolling my thread.

Because he's too talented.Surely that wasn't your stance and got called on it already.
This is like saying Kyle anderson improved the most. We have to read between the lines though. Dude is a scrub.![]()
Actually, with Kyle speeding up and improving his shooting stroke, I think the kid could be something next year.
Call me cray, but he's going to get minutes this year and Pop wants to believe in him.
He may do something this year.
One can dream and I'm on my 4th Scotch and soda.
Balvenie (12 year Doublewood, for the inquiring minds) has been speaking in my ear and her words are sweet, like Tupelo Honey.
Me rikey.
Spurs could have matched the offer if they wanted. It was either Dedmon or Boban but not both. Spurs and Pop being a defensive team they prioritized Dedmon over Boban. All the issues I initially mentioned, specially defensively probably swayed Pop in a different direction. I agree with you. If they kept Boban, he had to be a featured player. His best asset is his dominance offensively and that is really why I wanted him... However, the Spurs having signed Pau, I think a defensive big was a need. Pau and Boban are both big scorers with questionable defense.
Still I wish him the best. In a featured role he will be a monster for Van Gundy I bet.![]()
Dude shot like 33% in the playoffs.
I want him to be good. He has his place in the nba. Just not the Spurs.
Not true. Dedmon signed for the room exception. Keeping Boban would have meant renouncing Manu or dumping Patty, at the very least.
You should probably let this one go. Even if your OP was reasonable at the time it was written, it was proven wrong by the end of the season.
True... Maybe... I'm hoping HOPING that Chip has been working with him and maybe, just maybe that his faster and smoother shooting stroke shows that he's been working on it and there's going to be some real improvement moving forward.
I mean, the past is the past and he's young enough to improve his game to a point of usefulness.
Why dog that, yo?
Yeah Dedmon was definitely a better choice for fit and price. Can't have Pau and Boban as your two to centers. You need some balancing and with a guy like Dedmon you get that. He's a better rim protector and better athletically. Also he's low maintenance like a street cat while boban needs constant attention on defense and offense. This way players like Manu, Simmons, and Kyle will be more of a focal point on offense which should mean better ball movement. I'm naming the facilitators.
I'm a fan of the Spurs. Kyle is not a playoff warrior. He is hurting the Spurs every time he stepped on the court.
Tupelo honey huh. Thats the van morrison song that j.j. grey covers, right?
Old school mofro is awesome. First three albums are killer. Then they went all commercial like ben harper and the albums have not been as good
cap issues are not my forte but if they wanted to keep him they could have. What they had to do to make that happen wasn't worth it but that's part of whether he's a keeper or not. There always opportunity cost for everything
And actually I think opportunity cost was part of the equation discussed at some point here.
Good call. I don't know J.J. Grey though. Yeah, I'm 40. I work off of music, professionally, but I haven't spared moments to listen to much new in the last 5-6 years.
Nobody has given me any decent referrals. I've still only heard one song by Justin Beiber! My wife (11 years my junior) laughs at how willfully un-hip I am towards today's pop music.
I still throw down with my Blues though, boy. Ah yes. My current thing has an all Blues theme to it. Totally out from left field too. I love it!
Fist to chest. I feel ya.
I'm going to have one more ounce of patience for him, since I don't really have any other choice right now.
And his current haircut makes him, at least, manageable to place your eyes upon without going into an epileptic seizure after a few minutes.
TGFT.
Now, having said that, go kill 'em Fathead!
Check jj grey and mofro. Heavy on the blues in early albums. Its swamp rock blues if you had to label it. Out of jacksonville, florida area. JJ has alot of soul for a white boy.
Gorgeous. Brother, you helped a man more than you know this day.
I was needing a shot in the arm like this and you just delivered in spades, my man.
I may not post for a couple hours now...
