The Blazers signed free agent Festus Ezeli to a two-year, $16 million contract, a source told @TheUndefeated. Woj first to report.
Lakers playing twice as much and twice the years for Timofey F'n Mozgov.
Actually 7.4M, 400k more than Boban.
Drummond has funny tweets. I might start following the Pistons.
Nice value for Portland.
Lakers...
What a steal for the Blazers if you look dudes like Mozgov/Biyombo getting $16-17 million per year...
Thats a fantastic deal in this market. Im really shocked it's just a two year deal though.
I had mentioned Boban. I'd been calling for the Spurs to sign him, and even said that he would be available for cheap. That would be impressive, if not for the fact that I almost never guess what the the Spurs FO is going to do. And since they never listen to me, all the great ideas I have never get validated.
This year I really want them to bring Bourousis over. I've been watching a lot of video of him recently, and I'm even more convinced than I was before. I think this might be his last chance, and from what he's said I think he really wants to come. Enough that he might be willing to come for less than you might expect.
Spurs had enough to get Ezeli?!?!?! You gotta be kidding me.
Ezeli's stock went downhill in the playoffs, he was horrible, tbh..could be a nice buy low opportunity for Portland..
Cheers then for the Boban alert. It was a good call. I've never any idea what the FO is going to do, and usually get it wrong.
Can they possibly get Bourousis at the minimum? (Which is all we have left I think). Give him a short contract and tell him about the riches Boban is making (and Baynes and all our ex bigs except Jeff Ayres). Maybe he bets on himself and comes?
He wasn't good in the post season. And thinking about it, I'm not even sure what kind of player he would be outside of that wide-open GS system. He benefitted a lot from the double teams on other players, and getting easy-ish offensive boards because defenders over-committed to other guys.

I finally just gave up on trying to keep up with how much the Spurs have left to spend. I bet they could get him for about $1.1M. But then again, I didn't think Boban would get any more than about $15M, so who the knows?
I had seen Boban play, and I was a fan. Plus the Spurs needed a big man, and he had indicated he was open to giving the NBA a shot - to the point of sounding almost like he was begging for a chance. But when the Spurs announced, I was as shocked as anyone else. If you throw enough darts, you're bound to hit a bullseye once in a while.
ST was right about Dedmon, perhaps Bourousis is next
True. Just keep throwing those darts bro, we need more to land!![]()
those calling for Bourisis need to understand PATFO have explicitly stated they want to get younger and more athletic. Getting just Denmon and drafting Murray alone shouldn't cover that plan, tbh. I think they have something else up their sleeve that will address that.

Sources: Portland RFA Allen Crabbe has signed a four-year, $75M offer sheet with the Brooklyn Nets. Bonuses could reach $83M.
Just leave that roster spot open and wait for teams to start shedding some players at the end of the season and pick them up once they clear waivers.
