All state should shoot for is HCA ...
I think 65 wins ought to do it and then just rest the key players once secured.
    62 wins should be enough.

Speights played 11 mpg for a team that was often up by 20 the entire 4th quarter... and not a single other team in the NBA was willing to pay him above the Minimum Salary to join them, in a summer when bench players routinely got multi-year contracts above $7/8mil/yr! Some people reaching definite mountain-out-of-molehill territory here... It means nothing.

He can spite all he wants; he wasn't an x-factor or nothing; just a quality back-up 5 that EVENTUALLY fit in well to the GS offense. He can't have the same effect with LAC.

I think the Spurs are capable of winning 60+ again, barring injuries.

Too early in the process to say, tbh.

I'm pegging them around 55 wins since I don't think Gasol is a great fit and since they have so little depth in the frontcourt now.

OP is right this a "spite" move
Why didn't he sign with the Warriors for that money?

I think the spurs win 60 so to clinch comfortably they need to win at a pace that allows them to rest players earlier.
something like on pace to win 67 with 15 games left and then they can take their hands off the throttle.

Apparently they didn't offer him a contract.

them losing their bench compared to the sperms pathetic depth atm...
A lot of talent has left State. Top shelf talent. Ezeli, Speights, Bogut (forgot about Barnes). These are legitimate NBA starters, minute takers, productive machines. You can walk from it like State is doing, but, (I fear) there will be an accounting.

Zaza is 6'11", 275 lbs & Durant is taller than Barnes and Speights.

No, top shelf talent is what they brought in with Durant. You always trade four quarters for a dollar in the NBA.

Hey, head. You still rippin' "Westchucky is a winner"? Or did you quit on that as quick as you quit on the draft for 'Nam?

    They'll have to prove it.

    No, I was mistaken
You just summarized your entire existence.

Tell your kids how mistaken you were to semen-fill that fat ing who gave birth to them. Then tell them Pappy is 'bout to expire (not that they'll care about anything except the $25k life insurance policy)

    Talk about a mistake...

Can you please stop belittling people on this board? Just because you make $200k a year, it doesn't give you any right to be a jack ass.
