It was a good pass, if he threw it where Simmons didn't need terrific athleticism the Warriors would've been able to deflect it.

I thought he showed those same good instincts last game, although I don't have any stats.

I'm not knocking him. Just saying. If he's leaving early to chase boards, he's going to get lit up by better compe ion - and there won't be as many opportunities. But tonight he definitely went hard to bring some of them down. You always like a guy who works hard for rebounds and loose balls.

He showed some good moves with the basketball. Obviously he needs to make more of them, after he creates space for himself. But I'm not judging that by one game, either.

Someone commented on him going hero-ball. I think he sensed that he was the best player on the court at times, and when that happens he probably should go hard at the defense. Even though this whole game looked sloppy, the fact that there were times when he was the best player on the floor looks positive to me.
