Watching the replay of the 99 Championship on NBA TV and Sean, Pop, Robinson, and especially Timmy all look so young.

TD in a memorable scoring duel with Latrell Sprewell.

So many years, so many memories. Thanks TD.
How fast, fluid, agile he was.. The lift on his shots.. Man, truly amazing. I blame Shaq for robbing Tim of a few more super years of his prime. Tim started putting on weight to be able to defend Shaq and some of the other bigs in the middle and that probably wrecked his knees and body to support that extra weight. There was really no surprise that once he started to lose weight and slim up that he had a resurgence.

The consummate professional. There will never be like Timmy. Thank you for the memories. You had me rooting for the Spurs in the middle of laker fans.

Will teams give Manu the farewell tribute? Just to have a reason to include Timmy in it??

RE 99 game: I had forgotten that there was only one score in the last 2 minutes and that was a miracle 3 by Avery Johnson that put us up by one. Neither team could score again. and we win by one. Our first championship and a long time coming. Thank you TD.

Amazing how NBA ready he was when he came out of college and considering he hadn't played ball his whole life. And not just ready but dominant.

Tim's greatness is rivalled by literally a handful of NBA giants. I loved his game, his persona, his completeness, integrity, perserverance, intelligence, his purity. Cheers Timmy you are legendary!

Amazing how NBA ready he was when he came out of college and considering he hadn't played ball his whole life. And not just ready but dominant.
Still among the most dizzying accomplishments of Tim's career is the fact that was deservedly First Team All-NBA as a rookie, in a league with Malone, Barkley, Shaq, Robinson, Ewing, Olajuwon, Webber, Mutombo, Mourning, and a few others were all playing at high levels.

I don't know that any rookie since has made even Third Team All-NBA.
