Probably three-peated, tbh... Phil couldn't get away with just packing the paint, plus we would've saved money in the long run...
Winning has a way of making things tolerable. We don't know what the Spurs would have done though..

Yeah this is coming back. He said she was nuts.
Dude they shipped Dennis rodman when he acted up
Also sj late when they could not even get another player for playoff run
I'd go as far as to say 2003 - 2007 is sure fire Finals appearances..
Did you not watch the video clip where he says "I committed to the Spurs when I was in San Antonio. I told Pop I was coming."
I did not watch it i rembered what happened
We had the inside scope here discussed it in Chat
Good times
I would not believe anything out of that wife beater
Any Poster in this thread said kidd is a good liar
Kidd is definitely a s bag and a snake, tbh..it becomes a matter of how much you value winning vs. character, though..
Yup... the Spurs knew how to balance that stuff, tbh... SJax was key to one of our championships after all...
Wouldn't Kidd on the cap mean they would have lost Manu as a free agent in 04?
No Arenas rule back then, , I think Arenas did his deal that off season.
Kidd's refusal meant the Spurs splitting that room for Rasho, Mercer, and Hedo. I think the Mercer and Hedo savings helped keep Manu.
I think Kidd was basically taking DRob's cap space. Manu re-signed for $6.6m in '04, in which turned out to be the best season of his NBA career (and professional too, I suppose, if we consider Olympics). Spurs really got great value back then (Tony was making $800k in '03)...
Kidd f'd up.
We would have had 4 rings instead of 5 likely
We got one the of the best PG's of all time (4 rings;FMVP) so no biggie. Kidd regressed quickly and would have been a nice rental but not worth the head of the snake imo
"I know I'm the best point guard for this team," Parker told Ludden. "I can lead this team. I know deep down in my heart I can. I'm only 21, but I'm going to get better." -TP9
DAMN, talk about steals........ .
3 rings later and a Finals MVP.... He might have been right. Glad it played out with the Big 3 like it did, that was destiny.
MVParker tbh
I never knew he committed than changed his mind a day later, no wonder why he regrets it to this day. Spurs could have potentially 3peated with a Parker/Kidd backcourt with Duncan in his prime. Oh well I bet that Dallas championship in 2011 helped him lick the salt off that old wound. In a few years maybe Kidd could replace Pop, lol.

Thank God he didnt. This franchise owes his wife big. We woulda never been able to keep Manu and Parker. They are both better than Kidds slow no shooting ass.
All the Spurs needed to do was to sign Manu Ginobili when they drafted him, and they win probably two more les.
no Spur PG ever would've won Finals MVP though:
"Turbulence on the plane..."
AKA his wife threw a fit and he pussed out of multiple championships.
