    I agree.
Paul and blake no matter their faults are legit stars.
Kiwi maybe a better two way player ...and they obviously have the better coach ...

But it's crazy that the Clips are more legit than spurs. Celts or Lakers ..
It's crazy just to type that

How many single superstar teams have won a le?

Love Kiwi he really elevated his game (though he is not the 2nd best player in the league)
But I call bull on them being any better than 3rd or 4th best team even if their record just like this year says otherwise.

I think the Clippers are closer to a championship than the Spurs right now.
I do think the Clippers should easily be the 2 seed this year. If reasonably healthy they should win 60 games, while that might be the Spurs absolute ceiling (I think they'll finish around 55 wins). And Jordan on the glass is going to be a really tough matchup for them. But Red will have to be on fire from the three for them to have much of a chance at Golden State, gotta make the splash brothers have to play some defense.

Westbrook doesn't have much of a say in it, not contractually. He could be traded to the Raptors.
Raptors(or any other team): "Were going to trade for you Russell. We have all the assets to make it happen. You are our guy!"

Westbrook: "That is your prerogative but I will not resign with you the following year. I am going to test the FA market and you are not a team I am interested in."

Raptors: "Whatever Russell, you don't have much say in the matter."

Red has been so instrumental for the Clippers, its
mind boggling but in some stretches during Griffins absence, he was the Clippers second offensive option and he handled his role better than anyone could imagine.

I do think the ship has sailed, our window of opportunity has closed in 2015. We have the same core while the rest of the compe ion has improved.

even if he's laker bound, I'm not sure i even want him, 29 y/0 guard that relies on pure athleticism.

if he comes as a FA you take him because he can carry the load and pressure while the youth develops.
I would not gut the team for him though ...

doubt you beat state or LeBron and co. but after that you should be 3rd best ...along with Spurs ...

I like Re , but I'd hesitate to call him "instrumental" until he shows up in the playoffs. His stats fall off a cliff in the postseason and he's good for a few vanishing acts per series.

its a slippery slope for me. bringing westbrook means the lakers have given up on the d'angelo . im willing to wait and roll the dice on ingram/russell/Clarkson for now.

Why would lakers want Westbrook. Won't be able to develop their young. Gets them to the first round at best, likely barely missing the playoffs.

The west will be what the East was in the first half of 2010s imho. Warriors dominated last season and it's supposedly gonna be further exaggerated next season, I think they're gonna break their own record unless a key player breaks an ankle or something.
I could see them only losing 7 games all season. Most western teams took a step back.
