Cub, there is nothing to "take here." Paying Manu one year at 10 million means nothing. It doesn't count against the cap, therefore this contract doesn't "punish" us. It only punishes the Spurs pocketbook, which is flush anyhow.

It literally doesn't matter how much they pay him unless he was willing to sign below his $5mm cap hold. $7 or $10 doesn't impact Spurs plans.
