It's all Timmy, 80 pages. $12.99 is ing rape for a magazine, but I still bought it.
Just picked one up at a San Antonio area Wal-Mart. The website says it's supposed to come out on 7/21, yet here it is a week early.
Pretty fast turnaround. 80 hours from the press release by the Spurs to the mag on the racks.
My guess is they have been working on this for a couple weeks.
Anyway. It's out there. $12.99. Feels real to hold the tangible evidence in your hand that Timmy has moved on.

Damn I wouldn't pay $12.99 for a Hustler with the Virgin Mary in it. My first thought when I saw the thread is I have to buy it. My second thought was I bought all the champions special editions and and looked through them once and put them in a ing drawer. So I'll pass.
Expensive now but you won't regret that.
But we are talking about a magazine with the Virgin Mary's son in it!
I hear you. I think it's more about the distant future though. You'll pull those things out one day 20 years from now, maybe with your kids or grandkids, and be really happy about it. I'll always remember when my dad got out all his sports illustrateds from the late 70s and early 80s and gave 'em to me.

You basically described what's happened with my collector editions as well.
I would drop the 13 on a t-shirt, like one of those 80s versions with the player and his stats pasted all over it.
Although I saw that DRob shirt in junior high so I'm guessing it's only for youths!

Which Walmart did you get it at? Has anyone seen them in CVS or Walgreens? It says 104 in my car so I don't want to be driving around in rush hour. Thanks!

Exactly - I have all 5 championship SI covers, the 5 CDs and just ordered 4 of the special TD issue. It's for the grandkids - took them to the 5th game of the 2014 championship. We wont see a bball player like Tim again.
