Bertans finished on the run nicely and absolutely no issues missing half his ring finger.

Nice hops, I'm gonna catch this game later on. Did his defense look good?
He is no defensive player, but he has quick feet and rotated, he was active at least he put in effort. He's slim though and will be backed down inn the paint and shot over. He doesn't rebound. He used length and verticality a few times to contest layups, but these Kings are so untalented that it's hard to say much. True bigs will give him trouble but we probably think the same about Kyle. Kyle is more active swiping balls away from bigs though and stuff like that, Bertans doesn't do any of that. I think he will be alright though but it depends what Pop has him doing. He was a 4 in this game and not matched up with anyone of significance.

Good highlights from ace - liked his attack mode. Not a very good or fluid passer. He's what the spurs need though in terms of the drive/slash - definitely not a pg though. put him at sg and let him roam.

Thanks. If anything, if he can spark some compe ion there, it should be good, IMO.

You harped on LMA last year when it wasn't in style, my man.
Now you grating Murray into shreds.

    Props for being the #ceperez.

    One person thinks that.#ceperez
I do think him and Simmons do not pair up.
That's right... both have egos that don't jive. Murray definitely has talent, but he needs to be reigned in. There are too many young guys in the Spurs and we don't need the kind of distraction he brings. Send him to D-league so he can get over himself.

Easily Murray's best game Man, he was impressive tonight, ran the offense well, made some good passes, was decent defensively. Good floor game overall, he played pretty "mature". Difference is night and day from his first game to now

Im sold on Bertans, he just stands out as an athlete over everyone else, runs the floor well, obviously a really good shooter and seems to have a HIGH basketball IQ on both ends which is the most impressive aspect of his game imo. Not bad for his first and only game in the SL

Nnoko caught my eye, I didnt really pay too much attention until he made a couple of plays defensively. He looked energetic out there and seem to have good defensive awareness. I thought he moved pretty well on the perimeter as a big

Well, now that summer league is officially over for the Spurs, nothing to look forward to until training camp

Long dead time, but plenty to analyze and debate.
I'm firmly on the Bertans bandwagon, and riding, one legged on the end of the tailgate of the Murray pickup truck, skipping as fast as I can before I have to make a decision whether to hop, or let go.
The kid has time though, and he's with us for years so... I'm all in on him blowing the eff up and supplanting Parker as the starter by no later than Game 3 of next year.

    Go Next Generation Spurs!

If Murray stayed in college for another year, he likely would have been lottery level talent instead of picked at #29.

My best prognosis for him is that Spurs trade him like they did George Hill.... that really paid dividends.... Leonard and now Bertans!

Wow, judging by his offense, looks like he'll get minutes after all, hope he develops into a solid defender. A Manu-Dijon offense could be a wonderful thing to watch, just imagine.

The thing that has to entice the coaching staff is his innate ability to get in front of the rim no matter what's thrown in front of him.
That is a talent that is coveted and to be cultivated.

He'll play with the big boys, even if it's experimenting. How could Pop not want to see for himself what this team could look like with Dejounte fronting it?
