Steve King (Iowa! ) goes full, explicit Euro-white Christian supremacy.

Steve King raises eyebrows with racially charged comments

Steve King of Iowa on Monday questioned where “any other subgroup of people” contributed more to society than in Western civilization.

“This ‘old, white people’ business does get a little tired,” King said on MSNBC Monday, hours before the first speaker would take the stage at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

“I’d ask you to go back through history and figure out, where are these contributions that have been made by these other categories of people that you’re talking about – where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?”

he believes the greatest contributions of civilization have come from “Western Europe, Eastern Europe and the Unites States of America and every place where the footprint of Christianity settled the world.”

the Republican Party has a demographic problem: in a country of increasing racial and ethnic diversity, the GOP relies overwhelmingly on older, white voters. Asked to reflect on his party’s challenge, Steve King told a national television audience that white people are awesome.

GOP presidential candidates, eager to do well in the first caucus state, treated the far-right lawmaker as a perfectly credible figure, worthy of respect.

And this goes beyond just the campaign trail. As recently as two years ago, House Republican leaders, unable to govern themselves, effectively handed King control over the congressional GOP’s immigration policy.

King, like Trash, making explicit what the Repugs have been saying 50+ years.

I understand a primary goal of any convention to be to keep eyes on the convention while it's in progress and to ensure as many people as possible hear its message free of extraneous distractions.

I'd say the GOP got that one 100% right on Day 1 this year.

I was right about Trump all along so far.

I also did say only reason he would lose is if a bullet or projectile ends his run or if a massive smear campaign by the MIC, Wall Street and the thugs derails him.

Other than that Trump will anihilate Shillary.

Poll: AMERICANS WORRIED ABOUT KEEPING FAMILIES SAFE FROM RUDY GIULIANI

CLEVELAND — In what promises to be a key issue in the 2016 general election, a majority of Americans now say that they want a President who can keep their families safe from Rudy Giuliani, a new poll finds.

According to the poll, which was conducted on Monday night by the University of Minnesota’s Opinion Research Ins ute, an unprovoked attack by Giuliani now rivals immigration, terrorism, and the economy as a top concern of likely voters.

In interviews across the country, voters expressed dismay that neither of the major political parties’ presumptive nominees had offered a coherent plan to prevent the former mayor of New York from harming them or their families in a sudden fit of rage.

“He clearly could go off at any moment, and no one is talking about how to stop him,”

Carol Foyler, a mother of two from suburban San Jose, said.

“I feel less safe from Rudy Giuliani than I did one night ago.”

Harland Dorrinson, a father of three in Toledo, shared her concerns.

“When I put my kids to bed last night, I told them, ‘Don’t worry, the bad man on TV can’t hurt you,’ ” he said. “I wish I could believe that. I really do.”

Mr. Sanders and Mrs. Clinton need to be in the old folks home eating pudding. Mrs. Clinton has had multiple TIAs and needs blood thinners. Bernie has that look of eternal constipation. What a couple of great Americans those two are.

The bar has definitely been lowered in donkeyland.

RNC manipulates the pain of a grieving mother for partisan gain

This was probably the lowest point a party has reached in my lifetime.

The mother of an American killed in the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, said she personally blames Hillary Clinton for her son’s death.

“She deserves to be in stripes,” [Pat] Smith said of Clinton…. “I personally blame Hillary Clinton for the death of my son,” Smith said while fighting back tears.

The convention soon after turned over the stage to two veterans who proceeded to blatantly lie about assorted Benghazi conspiracy theories – each of which contradicted the findings of the Republicans’ own investigations.

As if Democrats never politicize loss? Both sides do it and then both sides criticize the other side for doing it.

    Time and time again.

Calling for gun control day after Orlando shooting, etc.

Not even saying I disagree with the policy. But it's politicizing tragedy nonetheless. Same with police shootings prior to Dallas, etc

Because it happened early in his presidency and many of the Democrats walked right into the war with him. The Democrats would have if they could. Add to that the same group had already committed terrorist acts at the WTC under Bill Clinton.

Oh and we got the Giants of Democrats on this board who do, Nbdan and Cosmofruitbat.

Then so did Bill Clinton and the Democrats. He should have stopped Bin Laden first (a Republican might say)

    ?

No one that I can remember personally blamed Bush of killing American soldiers.

This lady got made to come to stage to basically call Hillary a murderer which crosses the line.

I had no problem with her speech before the end where she went on a crazy tangent about Hillary killing her son and blaming her personally like she shot him himself.

    Thats just dumb.

She and the family are the most favorable things Trump had going for him. They wouldn't have intentionally tarnished that image with this.
    Fair enough.

So you were being serious when you said, "The only logical explanation is the speech writer ws planted and intentionally sabotaged her."?

    Honest question
