24/7 says one important prospect who did not make it to Austin last Saturday night was 2018 RB Craig Williams of Crosby.
He is believed to be a top priority for UT and possibly the best RB in the state for his class.

A few quotes from newest Longhorn, CB Josh Thompson of Nacogdoches (24/7):
“Basically, I just feel at home,” Thompson said. “I have a great relationship with the players and the coaches. I really like the atmosphere there. It’s just a great place overall.”
“Coach (Jeff) Traylor hits me up all the time,” Thompson said. “He shoots me texts back even late at night. We have a great relationship. Coach (Clay) Jennings is a great coach, and I’ve known him since he was at Arkansas. He’s straightforward and tells you what he means.”
“It’s really cool knowing that we are going to play with each other again,” Thompson said. “He’s (Brandon Jones) a really good friend. He just told me that I’m going to have to go in there and work for what I want.”
A heads up that OL Xavier Newman, DE Taquon Graham, LB Anthony Hines and CB Kobe Boyce are scheduled to attend an OU recruiting event this weekend.
However, as of today, it seems only Newman is for sure going and he is on flip watch.
He is contradicting himself right there.
Apart= separated by a distance
I think he meant a part not apart..

This kid is my favorite in-state QB so far for 2018.
I agree TFloss. He is by far the best QB in state, IMO. of an arm.
OK State will be without WR Marcell Ateman for a while:

I wish he would've been available for UTL so the staff could see him and Mordecai side-by-side.
With Buechele and Ehlinger in the mix, I hope they're patient with the 2018 QB offer.
New Years eve games just didn't cut the ratings. Now the switch.
